The iPod Express worked great. Sure, sometimes they had to be rebooted (they refused to connect to the server), but most of the time it was painless. I had one Amex and one United Airlines Master Card not work, but everything else went through quickly.

If the card didn't work, all we do is run you over to an empty register, so you don't wait any additional time (well sure, whatever it takes you to walk 10 steps).

If we mistype the email, you can come back with your CC to a normal cashier and we can look up your receipt and reprint it. I always made sure to spell it out (and show) the email to the customer before leaving.

    ---
As per the comments on the genius bar, just go to apple.com/retail, look up your store, and make an appointment in the morning. That way you can come in later that day and not have to wait (do the waiting at home).

If you're a business type and really need fast repairs and want to make appointments up to one week in advance, ProCare is not that expensive.

You're missing an important point. Sure the re-order makes more sense chronologically, but the order in which the characters are introduced is very important.

If you read it in the original order (The Lion... etc. first). Then throughout the whole book there's this sense of wonder when they talk about Aslan. In fact, during the whole beginning of the book there's a built up anticipation for this character.

If you read it in the "new" order, then you already know everything about Aslan.

It really makes sense from a story-telling perspective to read it as it was originally published. As there are a lot of assumptions made in this order to further the story.

    My 2 cents.

DMCA on you. So when they sue you you wouldn't be liable for making copies for yourself, but you are liable for breaking the encryption and having the tools to do so (both illegal).

In that interview recently with Ive he basically talked about the difference in the roughness of the screen versus the wheel, so it was a deliberate decision to make it this way. I guess the best way apple can fix it is by coating it with something more scratch resistant.

You're so completely off the rocker on "diving the oil wealth among the European-descended upper classes" that you really have _no_ clue what you're talking about. The government has always been corrupt, has always stolen from the people. Chavez is just more blatant about it and does it in the name of the poor (while he lives like a king).

The re-election was a scam. We managed to get over 4 million votes in order to go for re-election, yet somehow the results of the actual election were _backwards_, with only about 2 million people voting against him. The re-election signatures were properly validated. The election process was done with electronic voting machines, with no paper trails, and for some reason *hint hint* the machines had two way communications.

Why do you have to talk nonsense about what you don't know about? Me and my family have worked _hard_ to get where we are. My father started as a bank teller and made it to a manager position. The problem comes with benchmarks. You can now benchmark on similar hardware: say Photoshop running on Windows versus on Mac OS X. This could be good for mac because of windows bloat, or it could be bad because of the inefficiency of the Mach/BSD kernel in Mac OS X.
