    Copy from whom? Not OS community that's for sure. Ever wondered how is that just about half of successful OS projects are direct recreations of existing MS products?
    Seriously, only blind man would claim that OS is a source of innovation. EVERY ONE of their packages is some sort of implementation of an existing ( sometimes for decades) commercial product.

    IE works almost flawlessly and certainly better than any version of Netscape (old or new)

    MIcrosoft might not be the greatest innovator out there but surely, they have following.

    Hey, I was all for NOT ratifying Kyoto and I know quite a bit people who were just as much opposed to it.
    I don't think giving up certain US liberties just to avoid pissing off Europeans is worth it.

    No it is a fact, tons of dot-coms failed because business model they were trying to follow did not work out.
    In many cases that business was providing medium for advertising.
    His argument was very much relevant.

    If this is true, then once again Gates brings some sanity and sound business judgement into his company.
    Why in the world would anyone want to have different GUI on their servers than 99% of workstations just because bunch of developers thought it would be cool to have something like that.
