accually if you want to be picky mosaic was written for the mac first and IE is based on mosaic as for office M$ wrote word and excel for tteh mac before there was a windows version

With all the problems that face society in general today, these jokers are going to march in support of open source software? I mean, really.
Well lets say it works and the the govenment switchs to entirley open source sofware for everything and they save BIG$$$$ then they have BIG$$$ to spend on the problems you find more worthy so it is a win win for everyone

Like I said I use eudora and there is no obvious way to filter html. Do you know of a way to do it in eudora?

I use eudora and the filters work pretty good but I don't know how to filter spam that is entirely html. Lateley I have been getting shitloads of spam that has no text in the body it's all html
Yeah, but if any of this stuff was built into Windows wouldn't the same people on this thread be whining about how Microsoft is abusing its monopoly power to shove software no one wants down peoples throats and to drive competitors out of business ?
The big difference is that M$ waits till someone else has a great idea then incorpoates it into windows (web browser) The difference with Apple is they Invent the new idea and incorporate it
Push the release button, and you can open up the case just like the Apple cases.
I wouyldn't say just like the Apple cases. I have both a G4 tower and a 8200 It took awhile to figureout the 8200 and to tell the truth it doesn't open very easy. and turning on it's face to open it isn't anywhere near how a Mac case works
College is a time in my life I will never forget, it was so much fun.
That's exactly my point for a lot off people college is just a big party. After you spend some time in the work force you know what you need to get out of college and you put more effort into your education thereby getting more out of it.
Thats exactly what I see as colleges biggest problem. To many people who don't have a clue whatthey want to do. So they spend 4 years screwing around and get a degree then they go lookin for a job. I think it's much better to go out in the real world for a few years find out what it's really like and adn see what jobs you really want then after you have some expeirence gotot college and focus on subjects related to the field you want to be in. You will end up with a better education because you know what you want.
MS's setup is the best OS setup I have ever used, period
Maybe the best YOU have ever used but there are few million people that could tell you that the Mas OS installer is definatly the easiest and most trouble free ever
if everyone had the ability to run thier own dns and mail servers that might work but you really don't think everyone will go through that much trouble to fight spam do you?
most of my spam come with forged email headers supposedly from yahoo setting up a filter in my email ap to block anyincoming mail from yahoo would block 90% of my spam but unfortunately I get legitimate email from yahoo email users:-(
vigilanty justice is the only way to fight spam goto http://www.goto.com and do a search for bulk email then click the links to cost spammers big bucks

The moron had norton systemworks installed on his system and never defraged his drive. I was able to recover over a years worth of incriminating emails with nortons undelete. Boy was that easy money
