Well, it seems that now scientists think that not only Egyptians and Vikings 'discovered' America, but now Chinese. Well, I wonder how many other sea-faring cultures have landed on these lee shores in search of a land of riches? Sort of brings to mind various historical-fantasy novels.
I think they are right to a point. The net is global so one country shouldnt be able to put on trial an offender from another country...but, this is a very tricky subject and begs the questions, who/what should set the laws for the net, if indeed there should/are to be any?
How many people will actually care though? For that matter, companies included? Im sure that the game manufacturers dont care much either way as long as the reviews are good.

I sleep more at my tech job than actual work. So, as far as whether its fun or not, I wouldnt know. Definately relaxing though.
