yeah, and that is why we should be using Thorium based Nuclear reactors:

that this is the Nirvana of Alternative energy...what they heck is wrong with the DOE!!! no regulations like Uranium based reactors because of the safety of the system and the non weaponization.
if I were an environmental group, this would be the green energy I would be preaching because it is capable of delivering CO2 free, low radioactive waste energy.
H.264 is fairly new. it scales from 3g to the movie screen and HD. it gives you TV quality on 3g while it gives you DVD quality at less than half the bitrate which is better than 3vix or Divx.
I think they should provide both, not just one or the other.
I recall hearing about this back in the very early 90's. they made it sound like they had a product and in about a year or two you would see them in the Big 3 cars.... still waiting.
probably very few (or more likely some experimental forks like you see in Linux which later if they pan out become part of the main tree) since X.org is very open and welcoming.
actualy, the wobble is replaced by the dimming meathod. but the problem with that is you only see with the telescopes we have today jovian sized planets or larger that have very small periods of orbit. to pick up a system that has terrestrial plants or potential terrestrial planets we must do one of two things.
1) look at a star for 12 years and see if there is a dimming at an point that does not repeat more than once.
2) built a huge space based inferometer that can detect the dimming that is present when a terrestrial sized planet passes in front of the star.
personally I like the second one better because of all the other things we would be able to learn about those planets.
unfortunately, to date, all the Jupiter size planets have had insanely close or insanely eccentric orbits which would preclude any terrestrial planets from forming in a habitable zone.
it was not even related to the books hardly. the rewrite of the story and the fact that you lost the feeling of the first 2 have totaly ruined the movie series for me.

that makes absolutely no sense.

I would rather use H.264 than VC-1. I hope they include it since it should be on the format.
so buy the firewire TV tuner. no different than having a cable box net to your TV.
uhh, the G5 at 1.6 and 1.8 GHz is comparable to a P4 at 2.8 and 3.0 GHz, and that is conservative.
Wow, the apples are actually pretty well priced...and when you factor in the foot print that the Mac will take up, the tiny bit extra is worth it.
uhh, yea except that leakage increases as the transistors get smaller requiring more power which in turn produces more heat.
that is why the heat output and power requirements have increased so much.
they have got a bunch of the old Be guys working for them right now.
and how is it a rip off when Be is not even using that technology any more?
so, saying something means you did it first? it seems that MS has not done it at all since they did not even have a reference implementation.
yeah, that explains why Apple has so little mindshare.
good idea. then we just have to worry about the finite witeability of Flash memory.
no problem. seems morons like yourself have been confused for a long long time.
umm, hey stupid, WinFS is a layer on top of NTFS. Longhorn would have still has a heirarchical file system

yeah I can do the same thing with iChat.

actually, ST6 is not a bad movie. but ST5 was very horrible.
and as for Generations, did you ever think that perhaps a ballistic rocket might have had a 2nd stage that had an impulse drive?

yeah, that is why I would never go back to OS 9.x ever as well.
you moron!!! it did software ECC!!!! god you are an idiot. it did ECC is software and STIL GOT THOSE SCORES!!!
umm, it was fully capable of scientific work you moron. that is why it was built. christ you are stupid.
