Many Americans are willing to make an attempt to break the corruption, even if it breaks the Union, for the chance that things may actually improve. That's why the majority are willing to vote for Trump. This is indeed a dangerous election, with two terrible choices. Neither of them are fit to be President, but at least with Trump, we have a chance.

  2. Most 'survivalists' aren't actually thinking about the survival aspect. They expect to buy with gold, or take with weapons, anything they need/want after a breakdown of the social order. They're not interested in the petty details of village economics and rebooting local agriculture.

The NSA was supposed to be limited in scope to protecting American territory from organized terrorism. The reason all these espionage programs are under the NSA's jurisdiction now, is because of the Patriot Act's funding, and Executive Orders giving them carte blanch to circumvent the law.

So, you travel often enough to make international data usage a serious consideration, but the extra $20 is a deal breaker? You're also willing to spend time and money fiddling with disposable SIMs. I don't follow your logic. I would think $20 would be worth not having to worry about that kind of shit, especially since you have the added bonus of both moving away from the screw-job contracts AT&T offers, and still being able to roam onto the AT&T network as needed, with no hassle.

Gates' intentions may be noble, but market disruptions are a real threat that send shockwaves through an economy, with long lasting effects. With enough 'free' chickens in the market, it won't be worth the producers effort to keep his flocks in production. He'll kill most of them as a stop-loss. Short term: everyone enjoys a bonanza of free chicken dinners. Long term: everyone starves in 6 months, as the chicken producer is out of business, or doesn't have enough deliverable goods to meet the demand. This cycle will repeat for years until the market restabilizes itself. - Welcome to capitalism, communist Bolivia!
