Here is a funny story that happened about 5 years ago at work. We had an Indian guy that worked for us, he was a security tech. He had to contact Honeywell support because we were having a problem programming one of their security panels. He gets an Indian tech support worker. They rambled back and forth for an hour and about every 5th sentence was "can you repeat that I can not understand what you are saying". Then the guy hangs up and complained about the tech support people not being able to speak proper English. Now I'm no linguist but from what I heard of the conversation they sounded damn near identical.
Anecdotal sure, but was funny as hell from my view and I will probably never forget that day.
At least you're honest about your self. Can't take that from you. Yet you claim to target me why? I'm a generally pretty easy going guy. I don't however attach heinous names to people without reason. I see you say the "libs" hands aren't clean, but that doesn't give you an excuse to act exactly as they do. As for that when I was young I thought of myself as a liberal, then I became a young adult and thought of myself as conservative... With the way shit has been going this last decade I now consider myself an extreme centrist. As stated earlier I still don't run around trying to label people as evil. Also can you define "the kind of shit I pull" that makes me fair target.. This falls back to you being a moron. And I say that with the utmost respect because you're not as bad as I thought you were, not nearly as toxic when being directly spoken to about the issue unlike some of the others here. I also believe that we could agree that my views and beliefs are no more or less important than yours. I'm not the type to claim I'm the all knowing and everybody should bow down and respect my wishes. Once again a personality we see here all too often.
I'm sure you have heard of "stable" software yea? like RHEL.. They literally wait for other people to get and use the software and fix the bugs present in software... for a loooong time before they add it into a Stable release. If your system must be stable, don't complain when you install bleeding edge software and shit breaks.
In my opinion that is the main problem we have in society today. Parents have stopped being that, parents. And it has allowed society to go into a nose dive of greed and "me me me" selfishness. And it is not just happening in the USA it it world wide. I believe it started in the USA with the shaming and criminal charges against people who disciplined their children. I'm not saying beat your kids senseless, I'm saying you will be hard pressed to find a decent person that hasn't has their back side turned red by their parents a time or two.

Steam is doing great! Rust removed its linux support because of unity fucking it up. I am running it with steam play and it only crashes as much as the windows version does anyways! We will know its prime time when GTA V runs flawlessly though. I haven't tried(mostly cause of size and my current inet capabilities) but I hear now its real finicky.
USPS has special locks that you can buy an assortment of mailboxes with already installed it if you're handy you could buy the locking mechanism and install it your self, I'm sure that would depend on the type of box you have but its still possible. You don't think they carry a special key for every apartment complex do you?
A snitch is not a converted criminal. I am a converted criminal. A snitch will snitch on somebody to get a reduced or absolved time for their crime. and go right back to committing crimes as soon as hes out of custody.
Wow, that is almost the complete opposite of the US systems. Here the people snitching do it to get their sentences vastly reduced if not absolved completely.
And it's common knowledge for everyone in jail that the ones saying "don't rat on anyone" will be the first ones to rat on you.
That is common with a lot of things, It is a risk you take if you're a criminal and do work with other criminals. That's why you need to have a good judge of character. But even that is not guaranteed. I found the easiest thing to do is not do crime for a living. Makes life a lot less stressful. Especially when you do the kind of shit that makes you have to look over your shoulder at every moment for retaliation.
Wine is making a lot of headway with games like overwatch. Now with the help of steam it's getting even better. You can play overwatch on Linux but until some more bugs get worked out it may crash or it may run just fine for hours. I recently tested Rust with steam play and other than not being able to open steam friends once you're in game it runs rather flawlessly occasionally I get runaway ram and have to cycle the game but in 2 days game play(lots of hours last weekend) it only happened twice.
No, it's another one of the "known oppressor oppresses its citizens" so I would expect no less. And I kind of like the fact that there are still places that don't force you to give information to post a comment. Even if it's mostly used for spam and hate. I miss the old Internet.
