    Seems to me that there are plenty of sites on the internet for uneducated people. It may be that many of those populating /. nowadays would be better served by those other sites.

    Thank you. I was surprised when I saw so few comments to this article. Then I started reading them and started to see why. Reading comprehension is just as "fail" today as is writing ability. I had zero problem interpreting the sentences, interpolating the necessary information to understand what is by definition a small, incomplete summary of an incredibly complex set of projects and tasks.

  5. Yeah. I've survived several layoffs. A big part of that was being the one that was fixing the issue at 5:01pm. And may or may not come in the next day. It takes a while for mgmt to learn to trust an employee for one to be able to do that. Typically when they gain that trust the emp will get changed from hourly to salaried.

    It's another simple mis-translation. A more correct wording would be "Don't fuck at us".

    Once something becomes "large-scale", resources have to be gathered. Politics is a process that humans use to allocate resources. The other effective process that humans use is war.
