    I'm a long-time Opera user. There is now a good adblock extension in Opera, enough to where I've switched my daughter to Opera, and getting ready to push my wife onto it, I'll let her test drive it for a while before pulling the plug on Firefox. Other extensions I can't address, since I'm not a big Firefox user--just enough to set it up for the family and get adblock installed.

    I was visiting family not long ago, and my sister needed some component. I told her you can get it on NewEgg for $5, but she needed it now, and paid $20 at Best Buy. It was a defiling experience being in there and paying through the nose for a small piece of junk.

    The only super-glossy thing I have is a new keyboard--a Microsoft sidewinder. I got it because it's illuminated. First thing I noticed: after no time at all, it looks crappy because of dust.

    Blew up my video driver when I hit a mostly-text site. Lucky for me Windows 7 restarts it gracefully, but while the screen was black I was Waiting for BSOD.
