My first reaction was was that Barbarella is a comedy and shouldn't be considered a Sci Fi movie. However, given the time it was made (late 60's), I can definitely see the film makers taking the whole thing more seriously than they should have. Today, it is an obvious comedy, then, they probably thought it was Sci Fi.

The first time it happened, it flashed through my mind that the police were at the front door and I was getting a courtesy call before they busted it down.

This tactic really pissed me off, and no, I didn't make a donation.

Not true they don't "have" cell phone numbers. For months my cell has been hammered by a number of companies sending me faxes. Then, I call the numbers on the faxes and get a satifying lb. of flesh from the ranking manager of the day.

Unfortunately, you are incorrect. In Calif, the state passed a law that watered down the TCPA. I looked into it, because I was going to take action against a group of telemarketers that were sending faxes to my cell phone.

Over the years I bought the hype that Matrox was dishing. This is just more of the same. All would be fine, if they delivered on the **software**. It took them more than a year after Win2k was released to release a final driver for the G200-TV card. The beta driver sucked (*lots* of BSOD). Their forums were clogged by people complaining about the lack of Win2k support. Either their driver group is incompetent, or Matrox corporate had other priorities. Either way, the situation sucks.

I think the problem is the graphics card biz is a low margin business, and the first thing they skimp on is software. *Sigh*

Also, they're so cheap their site is completely /.'d right now.
