"Just how it is and there's no real easy solution."
There is a very easy solution. Make the game skill based and hard rather than progressive achievement based and easy.
Skill based, like every game I listed? There's skill involved there and the more you play, typically the better you are. Which leads in to the issue I called out for casual gamers that aren't as skilled a jumping, with a sniper, and then quickly zoom aiming to head shot across the map.
In Michigan, the weather has been fine and it's been a summer hit.
But the game is repetitive, and players who want to play "a little bit" can't compete in the arms race for good pokemon to fight in the gyms.
More activities and content needs to be added to the game to keep it fresh, and soon.
When the weather turns colder, it will be harder to maintain users in my neighborhood, at least.
Well, this how Pokemon games have been since back on Gameboy. It's the same thing, over and over.. You go to a town, you battle some people, you find some stuff, you leave town and you catch some Pokemon and you battle some people and then you find some stuff. It's not all that different, it's just that fad players are getting bored with it because they never played all the other games.
Also, "layers who want to play "a little bit" can't compete in the arms race for good pokemon to fight in the gyms." That's true of a great many multi-player online games. There are people that sink months on end and scale up to levels that make it not fun for others and those of us that are more casual. This just simply isn't even close to being a Pokemon:Go only issue. Destiny has this. Battlefield. CoD. Doom. Etc. Pretty much any sort on MMO game will see this problem with the casual players. Just how it is and there's no real easy solution.
Yeah, I'm with this option... I get why it was removed. I've been the victim of losing work due to backspace back a page issue. But, I'm also annoyed that it's gone, because I used it frequently.
Instead of them being so binary, they could have just made it a configurable option.
Yeah, like having my clutch leg start to spasm in stop and go traffic... so fun.
Never seemed to be an issue for me, even after very long metro area stop/go. My clutch leg was just fine. So are my friends that have hi-perf cars that road/drag race. We don't have issues with it in Chicago traffic and that's pretty awful.
Some of us actually do enjoy driving, track/race and are quite good at it.
That's a far different thing from 99.9999% of the driving most of us do. I get to drive roughly 60 minutes per day for my commute round trip. There is nothing enjoyable about the drive and changing to an exciting car wouldn't make it more exciting. If my commute is something you would find fun then I would wonder what is wrong with you. The vast majority of my driving time is a waste of my life. It is unproductive, boring, occasionally dangerous, polluting and wasteful. Sure getting behind the wheel of a fast car on a track is a blast but very little driving even remotely fits that description.
I would equally ask what's wrong with you that you wouldn't enjoy being behind the wheel of an exciting car, even in traffic. I've been able to do so and it's fun and enjoyable. I look around at all the people in boring cars and wonder how they deal with that. I couldn't.
Self driving cars being the main culprit for making things boring
Replacing one of the shittiest experience that people would rather not do during the day and freeing up time for me to do more exiting stuff like post on Slashdot is quite the opposite really.
Driving is a wonderful experience, through the mountains, in a convertible, wind in my hair, or around a track at speed throwing my side to side as I tear through corners. But otherwise I can't wait for literally anything to replace my commute, and I feel like this without even being stuck in traffic like many people here would be on a daily basis.
Umm.. Some of us actually do enjoy driving, track/race and are quite good at it. I have 0 interest in a car that drives itself, because at that point, I wouldn't even want one as being a passenger in an automated car that I own would be the shittiest experience for me.
What if the rest of society is really worried over the fact that a sophisticated adversary is meddling into your domestic affairs (via DNCLeak and DCLeaks, incl Wikileaks) and at the same time confronts one of your main intelligence agencies in public, calling it bluff.
Then see my initial comment of 0 farks given. You think that inside info from TLA places like that hasn't been used against people internally already? It's about time that these organizations and the people in charge get outed and embarrassed. There's been too much power, corruption and insider BS for too long now and it needs to be balanced out.
That's incorrect. There is always, going back many thousands of years, a struggle between the "smarter mouse and better mouse trap". That's how it is.
Do you honestly think that some laws on paper will stop TLA agencies from doing things they shouldn't? They already violate laws and "get around" them.. H*ll, that's called out right in the summary.
And this is exactly why the general public needs encryption and why various TLA outfits and buddies like to use the "think of the children" garbage to denounce it.
[0:00 to 0:34] Level 1, Speed 4 [0:34 to 1:17] Level 2, Speed 6 [1:17 to 2:01] Level 4, Speed 2 [2:01 to 3:45] Level 6, Speed 7
..is hot, then you're an idiot.
Actually, it's you that is the idiot.
Take a pornographic image of any kind and strip it down to the data layer (that means open it in a text editor of choice) and look at all that garbage text.
There's absolutely something you can redirect to. You intercept the request pattern for whatever was there and rewrite it to / or/something/ or/index.whatever.
and you do this on purpose because of other places that have kept old links or were statically linked to your content and you're not able to get them to change or remove the links (even if it's a search crawler) so this way it will snag the http://www.blahblah.com/someth... that's being called and you back it up a level and drop it to that folder's index.
If that's the case, then you should be using something like a 301/302 to redirect to / or another sub folder. If you 404 pages, some searching and indexers will down rate you because a 404 is usually a dead end path. If you 301/302 it, then you're handling the issue and sending the client to something that's actually valid instead.

Why a general?
Can't a major or a lieutenant colonel handle this?
That comment was in General Disarray and quite a Major Pain to follow. Corporal Punishment too follow shortly from Captain Obvious.
Headaches.

Welcome to how the rest of society feels.
Thank you for choosing Johnny Cab
Sue me, d*ck head.

I mean, between this and PETA.. We're pretty much now fully anti Pokemon...
Won't someone please think of the innocent Squirtles!
That's a pretty narrow minded view of the world. I'm glad people like you aren't the ones in charge of technical advancement.
If only there was some sort of summary or link that would explain why they "hyped" 3.5 over 2.5.
Also, if you think something like:
[0:00 to 0:34] Level 1, Speed 4
[0:34 to 1:17] Level 2, Speed 6
[1:17 to 2:01] Level 4, Speed 2

It's not the data in the raw that's the issue, but what the data in the raw represents.
It's tough being 44.
Says the p*ssy that can't even log in to post. How's about you go f*ck yourself with a rusted mace.

My Schwartz will look huge in 8K
Sorry, Kate.
If you had even the slightest clue as to all the minor offences that can land you on a offenders list, you'd not say that so easily.
Redundancy.
