If I'm looking to browse offerings in a category or sorted by a specific brand, it's a great site. Usually I do the initial research somewhere else (deja, epinions, etc) and stop by shopper.com to figure out who's got it and for what.
Most speed limits are set too low, even allowing for all the dopes on the road (speed isn't usually an issue with them, it's paying attention, using blinkers, checking blind spots, etc). Up the limits and re-time the lights for great justice.
Is that the one with 17" wheels, a spoiler, and a stiffer suspension?

Please document what you can when you get a chance. There're too many good photos on your site to let it fall by the wayside. My project begins in the Spring.
this does NOT mean Dr. Who is going to be gay all of a sudden.
Too bad. I'd like to see how a suddenly gay incarnation of the Doctor would gussy-up the Tardis. Can you imagine a Doctor dressed head-to-toe in Ralph Lauren's latest, sipping cosmopolitans after two hours in the gym? Queer Eye for that Timelord Guy...
Now CowboyNeal will be able to easily test his blood sugar no matter which chair is groaning beneath him. Well, as long as there's a strong light source nearby (UNLESS HE'S AN SP USER).
That's right, we've beefed up our blank page count! Need to blow your nose? You no longer need to rip out pages from the index or the TOC! Call in the next fifteen minutes and we'll blank out another twenty pages ABSOLUTELY FREE!
As most other individuals, I'm in the phonebook too, which can be accessed from the web nowadays.
Come on. The phone book does not say that you own liberalsarestupid.com, or isupportchoice.com. If you have a business that is controversial to some and list it in the yellow pages, fine. But you have to put it there. I'd like to put this "phone book" analogy to sleep.
Look at you, all principled and what-not. It's easy to talk big. When you're looking down the barrell of sudden unemployment in a tight market at your own hand it's a potentially harmful tipping point for your career and those you love. See if your wife cares about your principles when you're missing your second mortgage payment in a row and you can't look your son in the eye because you can't afford your new eyeglasses prescription...
There are lots of "Microsoft Sucks" posts/hits out there as well (as opposed to "Apple sucks" or "OS/2 Sucks"). I don't know Blogger from a hole in the wall, but perhaps it simply has a much larger userbase...
Very true. Until Peter Jennings tells Average Joe there's a problem, he won't know or care about it. And Peter Jennings won't tell you until there are lots of folks to tell the reporters how they'd been "hit."
Imagine if it was discovered that everyone who had a standard deadbolt on his front door was suddenly vulnerable to being burglarized by anyone with a paper clip. Would the story be noticed only after tens of thousands had been burglarized?
Wow, taken to the extreme, the exploitation of their systems could have caused a train collision and injury or death to hundreds of Maryland and Virginia commuters.
MICRO$OFT KILLS HUNDREDS! BILL GATES IS FOUND PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE BY A TRIBUNAL LED BY ALAN COX AND IS SENTENCED TO A GRIZILLION YEARS IN HELL. MICRO$OFT WILL BE IMMEDIATELY LIQUIDATED AND WILL NEVER BE ALLOWED TO PERFORM BUSINESS AGAIN ON PLANET EARTH. LINUX WILL HENCEFORTH REPLACE ALL EXISTING WINDOWS INSTALLATIONS.
But then michael woke up....
I have encountered the lameness filter. I will continue to add garbage to this otherwise extraordinary post because I will not let the Man tell me when I can and cannot use capital letters. Ah, there we go...
What difference does the cost make to them? I'm guessing all these attorneys are working largely on contingency and are shooting for a percentage of settlement.
This whole series of death throes is all about pump-and-dump for the stock. Darl et. al. want to go out in a blaze of glory and get rich while they're at it. It will certainly drag the company into chapter whatever bankruptcy and the lawyers will end up fighting over the scraps. What's sad is I don't think this will create enough of an outcry to get McBride and pals tossed into jail.
"The government" will tell you the lottery is okay because half of the money collected ends up supporting whatever it's earmarked for -- usually education.
Vegas (i.e. its casinos) has an interest in shutting down -- or at the least, squelching the notoriety of -- online gambling sites. Sure, the casinos will still see plenty of tourists and plenty of money, but it is a threat to their bottom line.
Unfortunately, there is still a thick vein of puritanism in this country that believes it needs to not only set the moral standards for all of us but enforce them through the law as well. Politicians will tell you offshore gambling is illegal. Ask them why it's illegal and they'll tell you it's "wrong"; that's where it all bogs down.
And I bet that works, too. I think I saw a counter-sig out there that says something like, "If you put 'I'll probably get modded down for this...' in your post, I will mod you down." Now that guy is a tool...

The Slashdot community is far more intelligent than this.
Eh? Is there another Slashdot community somewhere?

True, because errors can't claim anything. But you knew that.

Gross... mental note: don't ever use Uksi's Palm...
There's a reason they made George Castanza buy that book he read in the john.

You won't see Gary Coleman tolerate that kind of sloppy techno-scrawl...

Holy cow... Is your name Sean Kemp?
I always wondered what that wall switch was for and today I finally turned it off. My bad. After dinner I'll go turn it back on.
Oops... my bad.
