    It's because all the hippies who like to download music (and scream about their rights, aka Slashdot) are too fat to get up and walk to the store whenever they want to get some songs (besides, most stores are open during the day when there's sunlight). So, they just download them. Also, they don't want their moms to catch them sneaking back into the basement with a new CD that her money probably paid for.
