Is it just me, or am I missing the chemical reaction that turns the element Copper into lead? Something to do with the solder used in the joints, yes. The Copper pipes themselves, no.
Wow... which is more or less what he did say. Stan's contract (as I understand it) specified a 10% cut of the profits. Yeah... one tenth of the profits. Wow. That's some deal.
Did you read what I wrote? Did I mention percentage of profits? No. Profit is a word of many definitions. As you said so well yourself.
When my Dad passed away, my Mom had the 3 rings (engagement, his/hers wedding bands) melted down and made into a custom ring using the diamond from the engagement ring. The guy that did the work (Phoenix AZ) is an artist that specializes in jewelry, not a jeweler that does custom work. You couldn't buy the stones or the metal (gold silver whatever) from him. His work was flawless, and my Mom will be forever happy with the ring. And he did not charge jewelers prices, in fact we were all surprised how inexpensive it was, considering the obvious quality.
Remember, gold usually can only me formed once or twice before surface pitting becomes a issue. Make sure any "used" gold is not a re-formed ring.

On a side note, if you can't talk to your fiance about the engagement ring because its a "touchy subject" she may not be the one for you. Common interests and understanding speak volumes.
This entire thing has been f'ed up since the beginning. Stan Lee gave away something he shouldn't have. So did Marvel. IMO, both of 'em are getting what they deserved. Bunch of money hungry, no foresight, whiney bitches.
Stan Lee should have said everything SM related, ever, has my name on it, and I get x%.
Q2 '02 = 813 thousand units totalling $1,495 million
Q2 '03 = 711 thousand units totalling $1,475 million
Q1 '03 = 743 thousand units totalling $1,472 million
At best, they are treading water. At worst, sales are slipping on everything except for PowerBooks, due to new models being released. Apple sold 102 thousand less units than Q2 of 2002. That is bad.
But id could pocket some cash from Microsoft. Redmond keeps calling, trying to convince the company to release a version of Doom III for the Xbox: "We're being offered a pretty significant amount of money to sit on it until an Xbox port is done," says Carmack. id hasn't announced a decision yet.
No, that is a G3 versus G4 problem. G4 is faster, sure. But it also runs much hotter. All in the name of Alti-Vec...
G3 up to 1Ghz has been made by IBM for some time now, but Apple doesn't want to sell those for some reason. iBook 1GHz G3 with 1GB or RAM would be sweet. Much better than current 12" PowerBook. Which is why it's not for sale:(
That is stuff from 3 generations ago. Decision was made years ago to avoid the upgrade path. Although SCSI is far from legacy... still rips over IDE...;)
The entire direction of Sony is to make sure older games play on newer hardware... although PS2.1 or whatever is an interesting idea. Besides EA, who can afford to develop major games for 2 different specs of the PS2 ? Transition period was bad enough from PS to PS2:(
Apple has a habit of using other peoples code (either GPL stuff or by purchasing the company that wrote the code) and re-skinning it as a "revolutionary new program by Apple."
I think it has something truly worthy / interesting. Something like the Johnny Cash cover of Hurt. A great song (NIN originally) done by a great artist. The newest Britney or Justin or whatever the RIAA tells me to buy? I ignore that stuff. It's the same junk that has been spewed out since I was a kid. Think about "alternative" music... how can it be that if everyone knows / buys the album? I realized a while ago that most new musics sucks, and I have reacted accordingly.
They look fine here. Maybe you should set it up properly (Preferences -> Fonts and Colors)
Maybe they should set it up for people that download it, install, and run it for 5 minutes to see if it is any better. Fast forward / rewind was nice. But I am not going to waste time trying to make it look as good as what I already use. It should work "out of the box." It's not like Linux is known for great fonts...

This just in: Dual proc Mac's might be faster than single proc PC's!
If we could, how about a fair comparison: Mac G4 dual 1.42 GHz versus dual P4 3.06 GHz. Dual versus dual, or dumb down the Mac, single versus single.
News at 11.

Good luck.

Ditto for Marvel (with Stan's agreement intact).
Sales are not up. Proof

Slow proc and vid card in the XBOX dude... gotta compensate somehow.

$34.95 from Logitech.

Is it that hard to unplug the peripherals and plug them back into a new machine? OS 9 to OS X software upgrades I can understand.
Why not a open floor? Works for us (import company, not a tech company).
no shit!
jeeze... i guess i am not a car guy after all... must have been fooling myself for the last 2 decades...
my point is this: why change from one used name to another? and why are they all automobile related? discontinued ones... yes. But why?

This "ftp" you speak of; it must be experimental, right?
That is why I made no mention of the rest of the album :(
