Why was this moded "Insightful?" I originally posted this back on December 10. This person is ripping off people's post to get modded up. Mod this guy DOWN!
Yes, I know this is off-topic, but this needs to be addressed.
Maybe WMA is so superior that HP (and Apple) realized that they weren't worthy enough to support the format on the iPods, so they scrapped their plans.
You're right, eBay is not a bad place to look. I think what the above poster was trying to say is that the person who posted the story already knew to check eBay first, which resulted in finding nothing. That's why the OP was asking for suggestions. Therefore, suggesting to check eBay again was pointless.
" So, does this mean that their music folders are going to be a complete mess like the aisles I wander down in Wal-Mart when I visit?"
Actually, their music folders *are* all messed up. While checking out the site earlier today, I came across Deee-Lite's "Groove is in the Heart." When I tried to sample it, some other song played.
And when I tried to sample another song, it again was a totally different song. I wonder how many song's have been mis-linked/labeled. I'd be really pissed if I had actually downloaded those songs I sampled, only later to discover that they weren't what I purchased.
But I think the main point is that people are actually willing to pay for music downloads and that not everyone is a thief, which is what the RIAA believes.
The succes of Apple's iTMS will hopefully make the RIAA realize that there is a business in the pay for play download music business.
Note that "Apple also announced that over $1 million of iTunes online gift certificates and allowances have been purchased since the features were added to the iTunes Music Store on October 16, 2003."
I often get customers coming up to me and asking what they can do to reduce or stop those annoying pop-up's. Sometimes I'll have to stop and think for a few seconds to understand/remember what they're talking about since Mozilla has spoiled me.
The first thing I always do is recommend that they download Mozilla and give that a try while explaining to them that I haven't seen a pop-up in over a year.
Unfortunately, though, most folks (~ 95%) will just tell me that they like/are happy with Internet Explorer, despite its bugs and holes. After another attempt at explaining to them the benefits of switching, I'll just tell them about products such as pop-up stopper and popup defender. It's sad, really, as they have no idea what they're missing out on.
I think so because in the next paragraph, he continues by saying: "Obviously, we need to work very hard to improve the content of television programmes."
"His science fiction books and science facts have inspired generations of astronauts, scientists and technological innovators. Among them is Tim Berners-Lee, the British computer engineer who invented the World Wide Web..."
Are you sure you read the article because it clearly answers the questions you've just asked.
1) why the highway department wants them to have GPS
They want them to carry the GPS systems so they can "track their movements and record the work that they should be paid for" since they're paid "between $42 and $300 an hour."
2) why the contractors don't want to have it.
They don't want to carry them because of "the difficulty of operating the GPS phones while driving," and because if contractors don't "punch a code into the GPS phones and that if it is not done properly, the contractor won't get paid."
I, however, think the contractors don't want the GPS units because they'll no longer be able to slack off and milk the state. I mean, what do they have to hide. They are being paid by the state to do a job. Therefore, the state should have the right to track them and make sure they're doing exactly what they're being paid to do.
Is it possible to get DSL without landline service?
In a word, No.
That's the one thing I hate about DSL. You *must* have a landline in order to get/use it. So in my case, I pay $25/month for a landline plus $30/month for SBC/Yahoo! DSL which works out to $55/month. At that price, you might as well stick to your cable since it's probably MUCH faster.
Why on earth would you continue to renew your contract when it expires? If you don't, then when it comes time for you to cancel or switch carriers, you won't get billed an early termination fee which starts at $150 USD, depending on carrier. When your contract expires, just let it run month to month.
I know China's human rights policy sucks and all, but wasn't it the "good ol' US of A" that held someone without bail for over two years before sentencing, and worse, was held for over four and a half years without a bail hearing. As a matter of fact, he was even *denied* one!
All I know is that California recently mandated paper receipts for all its voting machines. Sucks is that this isn't required for all of them until 2006, which is a little too late for the 2004 elections.
Yeah, but these muscle building keyboards and mice would then reduce our on-the-job productivity since we'd end up being too tired to do any work.

Cheap Champagne. Check.
Cheap diamonds. Check.
Cheap wedding. Check.
Now all I need is a cheap bride.
So in other words,
...
1. Buy miniPod
2.
3. Profit!
Here are the E-Waste that they'll take:
If you have numerous computers, monitors, printers, etc., the Recycle Center can put you in direct contact with the recyclers of these products.

You must be new here.

You must not forget American Idol, For Love or Money, and all the other reality shows. Complete utter garbage!
Dial F for Frankenstein

Besides, if people are recording the movies in theatres, then won't the large reddish brown spots that flash in the middle of the picture make them useless and unviewable?

You're lucky. Back then, many geeks (I knew) playing on one of these cabinets would probably have been getting their ass kicked, instead.
Um... I think she'll be closing sooner than that once we get through /.ing her.

Personally, I prefer tea parties...
