Well then it's nice to see that no matter where you begin it's entirely possible to lose sight of your original purpose and find yourself becoming what you loath given enough time. The world just keeps on changing like that.
I'm starting to think this place is nothing like that warm and friendly work environment they showed us in "The Internship". Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson appear to have just plain lied to us all.
I understand and I continue to watch and read science fiction as well but I just no longer feel like that must include Star Trek. Granted nobody else is getting much done right now but Star Trek, whether it's the new movies or the trailer for this series just strikes me as something I've already seen. It's time to look for something different for me at least and if I'm any indication of what the older fans are thinking then they may have realized that it needs a longer hiatus than they thought. Admittedly the new movies aren't helping matters. Those things are flat out idiotic.
Seriously does anybody want this? I don't see the demand for a new Star Trek series at this time and particularly not a new Star Trek series that is going to be on a new pay service without any other content worth paying for to speak of. I'm 52 years old. I was born in 1965 and from what I've been told I have been watching Star Trek since I was in the cradle. Now to date I think I've watched upwards of 720 episodes of Star Trek and I've watched 13 feature films. I loved it at times, cringed at it here and there, and basically I've had my fill of Star Trek. Sometimes it's enough already and like the security guys at the end of "The Truman Show" you want to know what else is on. I'm tired of Star Trek so I wasn't going to watch this anyway.
Those that stay there are relatively content and unwilling to put forth the effort to get out of poverty. I don't know their individual IQ's but I'd call that "challenged in the area of intelligence" Admittedly it could also be simple laziness on their part. Much like bears who would no doubt prefer a salmon but are unwilling to stray far from the dumpster that's conveniently filled for them every day many of the poor take their handouts, live in their trailers and public housing, and buy drugs/booze, rims, and poorly made firearms. I don't care what anyone things of me as a human being so feel free to call me repugnant and vile. 50+ years of steadily increasing numbers receiving some form of public assistance tells me that if you don't make people fend for themselves they quit doing it and they never teach their young to either.
I wonder how many times the EU can milk Google for billions before Google thinks it's just not worth the trouble. I'm sure it's an enormous market but still, it seems like the EU exists primarily to pick the pockets of large corporations that stray too close to their shores.
My post is incomplete I guess. I should have elaborated and said that he's chosen to take hormones and pursue gender reassignment (the whole thing, eventually leading to surgery). It's not about "in my eyes". He's opted to try and become something he isn't that will take an enormous amount of time, money (that he doesn't have), and lengthy medical procedures instead of simply trying to get his hormones in order and continuing life as the male that he was born as (albeit one with clear deficiencies in testosterone production). I hope that makes more sense.
Stupider than fuck people don't get that when you have an endlessly increasing number of people who contribute nothing at one end and a bunch of rich people who do everything in their power to contribute as little as possible on the other end you can't milk the people who go to work every day dry trying to pay for those poor lazy fuckers at the bottom. Any time you give them anything to "lift them up" they turn it into a lifetime handout and a lifestyle. Who was supposed to live in public housing forever? Nobody but look around the country at generations born in it who you now can't get out of it. Eventually enough people will succumb to the handout and then what's the point? It's a race to the bottom and you end up with people who won't work. Why don't you morons get that?
The poor can't be taken care of because the majority of them are never going to leave that life behind. It's not some great oversight that created them. There are great masses of them that literally lack the will and intelligence to get off their asses and earn a living and everything since Johnson's Great Society has taught them now that they don't have to. Fuck the poor. I've been poor and it's not that hard to get out of it if you are willing to put some sweat equity in your life.
I'm not interested in being taxed to death while a bunch of bums enjoy their "Universal Handout" and sit on their ass all day. I'll fight that until the day I die so you can fuck off yourself and while you're at it GET A JOB AND GET OFF MY LAWN!
This doesn't at all surprise me. I have a stepson (for the moment) who seemed to apparently never hit puberty at all. He's nearly 30 and he has the body and manners of a prepubescent child. He did grow so he's taller but otherwise he just never seemed to grow an Adams apple or much in the way of body hair. His muscle mass never much increased and his bone structure on his face stayed child like. Eventually he went to a doctor and was told that he produced almost no testosterone at all. His decision? Become a female. Makes no sense to me because there's nothing even remotely feminine about him or his personality. Given a choice between taking testosterone (among other things) and becoming a man he opted to go through a hell of a lot more than that and be a woman.
Did you really just suggest that a building full of politicians seemed "pretty on-the-ball all the rest of the time"?
And you said it about the EU? Am I missing the joke here or something?
Thank you! I am now looking for representation for a class action lawsuit I'm filing on behalf of the 100 billion currently deceased people who cannot experience the simple dignity of using an Apple iPod.
This is a "Turbolift" and that's what it needs to be called. It's not a Great Glass Elevator at all and I don't know why anyone would get that impression. Nobody said anything about it flying up out of the building and soaring away on its own.
Something tells me that some form of "basic wage" is going to be needed to bridge us from here to whatever the economy looks like in the future and while that's going on we are definitely going to need to do something about the ditch diggers who are busy at home making 8-10 more ditch diggers of tomorrow. The poor are going to have less opportunity in a world with robots and kiosks doing their busy work so they better get cracking on improving their skill set or at the very least discover what birth control is.
When you find one of those lazy little shits who can stack a burger correctly or make it the way I ordered it I might just give a damn but until then I'm sorry but if the kiosk and the burger making robots do a better job then the student might want to look into doing something else. I hear armies of Mexicans make a living mowing lawns for money. Maybe they should look into that?

Well, you're not wrong.

Is this even possible? How many eggs do they lay during a single breeding cycle? Google seems to be lacking specifics on that.
My phone is full of ringtones I made for my Apple device. Been doing it since I had an iPhone 3S. Maybe it's just you?

The best part about it is every generation that arrives at this tired ass trope thinks they uncovered the great conspiracy of our world.

Syringe? Oh shit! I need to return this enema kit....
Every time I change my costume there's always some weird screw I don't have the right tool to loosen getting in my way.

Besides, if it's really important I'm sure the NSA has a copy of it somewhere.
They're just America's hat!

Somebody shoot this Turbolift denier with their Phaser please.
