I would not even get through the first interview though. Even though I'm very skilled, my medical records automatically disqualify me for any job in the tech industry. I've gone through almost a hundred interviews and not one would consider me. I know this would send my karma into the negative realm but just need to make my say.
unfortunately, the friends that had them waited up to 45 minutes in some cases to let the disk games load in. So we ultimately gave up waiting and did something else (never got to see a C64 game being played). But I had an Atari 800XL, only took a few minutes to play those disk based games.
I live in Wildwood Crest and the beaches are free. Why bother taking a laptop and getting sand in it while enjoying the rays and the surf. I think beach tags are the worst idea for using public land and since it is free where I'm at they get the beaches clean without the tag money.
but 25 miles south of Ocean City, NJ you have the Wildwoods with no beach tags and 10 miles north you have Atlantic City with no beach tags, they are free!!!!! Even without internet connection you can enjoy a stay there without spending money.
The best way is to find a way to have a computer have all three, Linux, Mac OS, and Windows. It would solve all our problems. It would never happen though, it sounds too logical.
The Amiga was a good system but so was the Atari ST. The only problem was that both were designed to compete against each other, not the PC and MAC. It didn't matter if the Amiga or ST had superior graphics or sound or multitasking the Mac already had its share of the market as well as the PC.
I owned an ST and had no problems with Amiga owners. Both systems had great applications as well as games. But the PC ended up as the one who took the games crown from both even though it was inferior for its time.
I still use my ST and I hope all those Amiga users with Slashdot use their systems as well. We have a good history to look back upon as well as a lot of fun!

Will they object to my tv being shown at my church, it's over 56 inches in length (the console) with a 4 inch Black and White screen.

I'm going to be short on this.
:)
My five favorites are:
1: Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (PC)
2: Mule (Atari 800)
3: Adventure (Atari 2600)
4: Elder Scrolls: Morrowind (PC)
5: Civilization 4 (PC)
There are others but since I can only list the top 5 there they are.
