Dude, it's called, go see a matinee... Or wait until the film has been out a a couple of weeks and go see it then. I personally enjoy being in a full theater, but then as my wife says, I am a freak. Anyway, the point is, go when no one else is there, then you don't have to worry about someone's running commentary during a movie.
Having said that, I go to the theater almost every weekend, and I have never had someone talk throughout the film, or had a baby cry during a movie.

For the love, read this post, and ask your self the following. If I buy a movie and hire someone to edit my copy for me and they ship it back to me, is that copyright infringement?

Now, was it the shipping that made it not copyright infringement, or was it the face that I OWN the movie, because that is exactly what cleanflicks.com is doing.

As the linked to post said, what if I ripped out pages of a book and taped in an edited summary of what I had removed.

What if I loaned it to a friend? What if they paid me for using my copy? How is any of that wrong? Has the original author lost any money at any point along the way? Have they made any less money than if I was renting/buying an unedited copy? If anything, they are selling to a market that was previously unaccessible.

I'm rather curious what the "existing law" Bush refers to is,
considering that the probable cause requirement was written in the
days before the telegraph, let alone telephones, rotary or touch-tone.

The law he is referring to, as far as I know, was referring not to probable cause but to the requirement that a wiretap for an indvidual be requested in each district that the indvidual owned a phone. The requirement for probable cause to issue a warrant did not change in this case, but now only a single Federal judge has to approve the wiretap order and it applies to all phones the individual has in their name.

Previously, criminals could cross districts and acquire a new cell phone, and a new wiretap order would be required. When the law was written it was very uncommon for individuals to have multiple phones in multiple districts, or for it to be so easy to acquire a new one. That, as far as I know, is what he was referring to with his "in the era of rotary telephones" comment.

There could be an interesting showdown as Annakin and/or Obi Wan explain to Yoda why they are choosing this path, and that Annakin can see the day that Yoda will again play a part in the game and shape the Jedi who will bring completion.

I dunno, but it sure us cooler than the current storyline.

So it actually is a good reason to switch to something like openoffice.

What strikes me as true hypocrisy is the fact that those who scream the loudest for 'free markets' are usually the ones doing the most to squelch any true competition in those markets by raising the barrier of entry so high that only ruling class people with interests in common can compete. Thus, ologopolies [sic] and monopolies quickly come to dominate the supposed free markets.

So you're saying free markets are bad because we really don't have a free market?
Guess what, just because someone screams something doesn't make them a true supporter of it. Catholicism is stupid because some priests are pedophiles too, right? A free market can and does work, as you said we don't have one. If we let people compete their way to the top and then prevent others from being able to compete, we've lost the "free" part of the market. One of the few actual responsibilities of government is keep businesses (and individuals) competing fairly.

I hate situations like this, because you and I probably agree on the problems, I'm just not sure where you get your conclusions.
