    In a word: No.

Information does not want to be liberated and does not need to be liberated. It simply becomes free.

I guess in the same way that nature doesn't really abhor a vacuum, but you usually get to the same end result anyway.

That sounds like the Open Source model. I hope you're not implying that's a bad thing - some great and creative software works have come from Open Source.

Cars wanting to go straight can go around the bus, either because there are enough lanes or you can just pass the bus. A stopped bus can be gotten around, they pull over.

That would probably require you having to change lanes within an intersection, which I believe is against the rules here in Ontario.

Depends. I'd probably be OK if someone went round inciting violence against me, on the understanding that if violence WAS perpetrated against me that the inciter were arrested, charged and tried exactly as having done the crime themselves, regardless of whether the original perpetrators were caught. In fact they'd most likely have a better chance of being found guilty seeing as all it would take would be to prove that they actually incited the violence, not caused it themselves.

I think that's fair for all sides concerned.

I am not sure how the US system works with regard to first/second class delivery, but in the UK there used to be such a set up when I lived there. First class ensures a faster delivery, so maybe bundled with a "On Saturdays we will only deliver first class mail" would be an option.

That said, if you're going to send out delivery staff why not delivery everything you have anyway?

You also don't see many people buying DVD players that are incapable of displaying porn, which is a much better comparison. Your analogy only works if the hardware and the marketplace are not in a strict one-to-one relationship.

Hardly a better comparison, because the DVD player is the device (iPhone), not the title (App Store goodies). The device (DVD player/iPhone) is totally capable of displaying porn, and there is no strict one-to-one relationship between the device and what it can display.
