I have a HP 4M Plus that I bought new sometime in the early 90s that does PCL and PS II and has a "netconnect" card. Other than toner, I've only had to replace the rollers ($35 kit).
There are a lot of organizations that, while sharepoint isn't necessarily the "best answer", it is the only solution that allows for a quick deployment.
U.S. Government organizations and their contractors would never be allowed to store documents anywhere except within their own infrastructure. I would love to see a "Google Sites" internal deployment option...
I had recently built a "storage pod" for my media @ home (6T using 4 1.5T drives), and had a hell of a time finding "good" components. So, I looked this over, and while it's made up of "consumer components" a couple of the components seem impossible to find for this as well.
Case: Custom Built HD Backplane: Custom made by chinese manufacturer.
So good luck building a "one off" for your small business/home, as I'll also bet these prices are for "quantity" (quality not withstanding)
The SSN was never intended to be used this way. If it was your choice to use the SSN in ANY database, you should be beat, if it was somebody else, please identify them.
It is this type of abuse and use of SSN numbers that has helped enabled identity fraud.
He not stating that he doesn't need to write documents. Maybe, in his world, a good mail program provides everything he needs; Just as much as a public transportation system provide the needs for some individuals...
I've often thought about this, and my only concern would be:
If one works with, or has access to "truly useful" (read highly "valuable") data, then one is subjecting ones self to losing a digit (or eye, or something):-)
Wy do I have the feeling this is used like Lie Detector tests?
If a polygraph test indicates guilt, then the prosecution will use all means to get it admissible. However, if it indicates innocence, it will be "brushed over"...
I think some of the changes affect the corporate user more than they do the home user.
From what I've read, the mail, calendar and contacts apps now communicate with MS exchange (using the Active Sync technology Apple licensed from MS for use in the iPhone).
While I'm sure there are other changes, I think those are some of the "bigger" one that a lot of people have been waiting for, myself included...
Based on what I've read, stretching/warm-up should be based on your sport.
For instance, I coach a hockey team, and any stretching is considered bad, as it loosens the tendons, and you are now more prone to injury because "things" can move too far...
I'm really tired of having companies come in with some product that we are "dictated" to use (yes, I work for a US government organization), only to learn that my chosen linux platform isn't supported...
That is a battle I would love to sweep under the carpet with, "why don't you support the LSB?"
I tried working with the free NAS solutions, but the biggest issue I ran into was connecting to disk (SAN) that I already had, and integration with Active Directory.
Trying to find a nice solution that meet our heterogenous environment was the biggest challenge.
You might checkout the RELData 9240 gateway. It allows us to bind into AD, use Quotas/ACLs, and ties nicely into our iSCSI and Fibre SANs...
They also have complete NAS solutions, but I haven't used them.
Here Here on the HP.

What accounting system?
There is a solution for that too. Better know as Fusion or Parallels...
I vote for the "plain fucking stupid" option...
This is now slashBay, and my bid:
$.01
Am I in the lead?
Not too shabby.

That could be true, depending on your lifestyle.
From my reading, he no longer needs MS Word,
He not stating that he doesn't need to write documents. Maybe, in his world, a good mail program provides everything he needs; Just as much as a public transportation system provide the needs for some individuals...
Maybe they passed all of the I/O through the Two RS-232/423 ports on clock board...
Personally I use, and recommend a version control system...

I doubt she will be motivated to...

Really!?!?
AMD and Harris later pushed the architecture to speeds as high as 20 MHz and 25 MHz, respectively.

Actually, I meant to reply to the previous post...
arusha hasn't seen any activity since at least 2007, and nothing announced since 2005...
Are you seriously suggesting software that hasn't seen an update since 2005?
I agree!

We need to let the people who really pay for TV shows know how we want our content.
A lot of people think that the cable/sat subscribers are whom pay, but they would be wrong.
We need to start letting advertisers know, that we want our content "free", as they are the ones that truly pay for the shows.
Actually I disagree with Linus. However, I can see the need for multiple too.
But imagine a single "frontman", with different "packs" that can be selected during install. So there is one "public" Linux
Need a server:
Download the Base public linux, then pick your "package" for the duty of the system
Base server pack - stable ...
Base server pack - leading edge
Base desktop pack - stable ...
Graphic artist pack ...
Setup repostiories that "are the distros"...

We (the team) do simple warm-ups.
It should probably be a class action...
Not that I think it should...
... A lot happier.
