    ... if that study says 2/5 bosses lie, then it really means 2/5 bosses are reasonably honest about lying to their employees. The other 3/5 are such huge liars that they wont even admit they lie.

    When i worked for the postal service we had satalite internet connections and they considered "acceptable" ping times (the vsat provider) to be anything less than 5000... which requires a commandline arg to keep windows ping from timing out ;P Those are just satalites around earth, the sats in mars orbit would have astoundingly high pings... I wonder how high exactly.

    They're suing them for... 1.65 TRILLION dollars. Last I checked the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) for the ENTIRE country was about 750 BILLION dollars. Now this is where it even gets better... this only includes the songs from June to October 2006. They're charging $150,000 per song. If they had applied those numbers since the inception of AllofMp3.com which according to a quick whois lookup of the site name, is June of 2000... using the same numbers of sales each month as they have for the time period of J-O then they'd owe roughly the GDP of the entire world. What a joke.

    Find a spot that is "roaming" and give your home phone a call, drop cell phone in roaming location in a plastic baggy over night. Repeat for a few weeks. They'll cancel you so fast your head will spin.

    Humorously, a friend of mine lived in West Virginia in a little mountain town. His house was at the bottom of the hill, the school in the middle... unfortunetely for him his parents both worked. So he had to goto his grandparents house after school. So quite literally he walked uphill both ways and as anyone who has lived in the mountains can tell you, in some pretty damn deep snow in the winter ;P

    I live in Ohio also, was a hunter when I was a kid/teenager, I don't hunt anymore because I have nothing to do with the meat... I personally don't like venison and I won't kill something if it's not going to be eaten. The deer have been over populating most of Ohio for at least 20 years. My family lived on a farm for ~50 years in NE Ohio and deer were a constant problem. They knew the neighbors were poaching deer and they did some themselves and it never even put a dent in the deer problem.

    A large portion of the problem is just lack of natural predators.

    I've owned macs in the past, and yes, most of the "big" games come out for mac, but I would guess a good 30-40% of games I want to play DON'T come out for the mac. The day that 90% of games I want to play come out for mac i'll switch and never look back.

    I hate microsoft because I'm required to use their bugridden craptastic software and I've been forced to use their bugridden craptastic software since the days of dos 5 and windows 3.1... because I'm a gamer.

    I've hated them since 95 and I'll hate them until I die, I'm so god damn sick and tired of their broken ass shit its unreal. If its not a direct bug its a security hole if its not a security hole its a memory leak if its not a memory leak its a driver conflict if its not a driver conflict its a... etc.

    I use Linux and BSD for just about everything, but they just don't cut it for games because the only system people develop for is windows.

    Get fucked Microsoft.

    Any language is only as good as the programmer using it.

    I use a LAMP stack for the most part, many of the security holes in php aren't due to the language itself but the developers of the various webapps.

    That being said, this requires a repost of the ol Adminspotting thang.

    The problem is... the increase in price isn't a result of gold farming. It's from the never ending increase of money into the world with very few outlets out of the world. Gold farming just increases the speed of progression down the time line. When they start making economies that aren't horribily broken in the first place... when they start making working economies this problem with cease to exist.

    Truth is, both parties are insanely corrupt. Both parties represent the big companies who can afford to pay them millions for their next campaign and basically don't represent the people who elect them. The democrats are NO better than the republicans in the grand scheme.

    However, in the grand scheme of lies, Bush's lies stand out as a oh... bit more serious than Clinton's lies. Not that they're not both liars and cheats in some way.

    Those of you who are willing to suck the conservatives or the liberals dicks without putting any thought into it... get fucked. YOU are what is wrong with this country.

I have already replied and pasted the relevant portion to one of the people above and it applies to the other also. Why take the time to write a logical well thought out response when people can't even bother to read your original post before making shit up and pulling it out of their ass as to what was said. Genius.

    I'm hardly flustered, it's just not worth the time. End of story. If that is a flame, I'm sorry for your personal state of being... I'd call that pathetic for a flame at best... go hang out on usenet for 10-15 years and then get back with me when you actually have an idea how to write a flame.

    I use it on linux but not the way I use it on windows. So you may well be right about the linux side of firefox, but I don't use it in a way there that would cause anything like you're experiencing... but my windows usage should, and it doesn't... so I'd guess at least one branch of firefox isn't leaking like that and perhaps that is where the reluctance to "fix it" is coming from... its not a universal issue.
