Well, point is, when they do cut the access, not just the porn, then what? With world economics failing it'll all be just fine.

How may US come to the conclusion to cut internet access for non-US citizens? Well, let's say somehow the UN put some sanctions on US for failing to pay their membership the last (how many years now?) lot of years.

And it's not about giving the authority to just any country. It's making it international, so that -no- country can do these things.

I kept a somewhat diverse store in my parents basement, of old machinery. One day they decided that it was time for some cleanup, and this I were informed about, and took it for granted that they asked me before they threw out all my (old)hardware stashed downstairs.

But naaah... /: And this is somewhat my _history_ of hardware.

Hint: don't keep hardware (that you intend to keep) unlocked, unsafe, or in any other way unchecked, in your old folks' basement.

I think the real problem actually relies there, not with the use of IE, but the use of constantly using MS-services, not that anyone really cares about that. Whenever the user will see that there are other and better options (itunes pour example) he/she will consider it, but they never do. When there isn't really options available to the user right there and then, the problem continues...

  9. What does this solve? on Canadians [Will] Pay Levy on MP3 Players - Updated · · Score: 2, Interesting

This is the kind of thing that makes me mad. What does it really solve to do this? The copyright holders will still crave for more money, and they will continue until there's no more money left! And we, the consumers, will never have any profit of such a levy, it won't keep us from getting sued if the copyright holders wants more money, it wont make it easier for us to chose our own device of playing the more and more customized copyprotection...

So I say: Come up with something better, will ya?

iirc, the way we make out how old the universe is, is by calculating with the temperature of "thin air", or the vacuum of space. This temperature has been going down ever since Big Bang, and is now at something like -272 Celsius degrees.

this article will prolly give you some more info on how we calculate the age of the universe...
