    Its a new stealth tax, just like how the fee to get permanent residency has gone up about 300% in just a few years. No doubt there will be a nice hefty fee to get this card and no one will care because its immigrants paying right?

    I agree there is nothing like GBS, it was a terrific piece of software. It just got on with it's job without interfering with what you were doing and now i can't use it i really miss it!

    Though for me bookmark syncing was the main use so Foxmarks is OK for me.

    Well all very nice but unfortunately it crashed when trying to verify the account i made so i couldn't try these goodies, something to keep an eye on though.

    Weave is ridiculously in alpha, i couldn't even create an account using that without it crashing, Google Browser Sync just worked. Foxmarks seems to do the trick for now anyway.

    Actually a lot of TV channels do broadcast on the web, for free. Do a search, you'll find a lot. Whether you'll find a lot worth watching is another matter and depends on your taste.

    As some of the parts were for F-14 fighters and Iran are the only operators of the type now why not mention them? There wouldn't really be much point Al-Qaeda or North Korea buying F-14 spares, unless they were going to throw them at GWB's head.

    ... there may be hundreds of worlds in the solar system. In the Milky Way, expect trillions. The distinction between the Solar System and the Galaxy is a subtle one, similar to that between a grain of sand and Saudi Arabia, so it's easy for the likes of the BBC to confuse the two. The TFA isn't confused at all, the summary on slashdot is though.

    It may have been before that too, according to http://www.astronautix.com/craft/soyuzp.htm Soviet satellites had the self-destruct since the 1960s.
