Seriously, what's the big disappointment in radio disappearing. I should listen to what IIII want to hear. Content on demand is the future. I don't need all these RADIO WAVES sending UNSOLICITED INFORMATION. If you think about it, the Radio Stations have been spamming our radios for years. And yet despite all this general dissatisfaction with spam, we don't see the disadvantage in that.
But NPR is still important. That station can stay. Sending the NEWS over the radio is still important.
This is quite ironic, because I would pay for the SOFTWARE ROMS but not the RE-PACKAGED HARDWARE ROMS simply because it is much more CONVENIENT to have all sorts of EMULATORS on 1 COMPUTER with all my GAMES rather than having to STORE all sorts of OLD GAMES AND OLD SYSTEMS. But apparently, with Palladium in the works, companies want us to have to BUY a NEW SYSTEM every time thier software changes.
I'm not sure, but I think that with the current densities of hard drives, software roms are definitely more environmentally friendly than any alternative. But again, I'm not sure what the environmental impact of the 120GB harddrive is (given failure, rate, etc).
Whatever, those are retarded laws that stifle free speech and creativity.
And speaking of stifling free speech, there's a whole bunch of Final Fantasy Fan Fiction that I keep submitting for a story, but it keeps being rejected.:P
Yeah, but how did you get the result? By measuring something. And what did you use to measure it? Something that we built. And why did we built it? Probably because Einstein said it was possible for us to build it. So we took Einstein's theory, built some device, and then used that device to measure some value, and then we were surprised at the results.
This is why I have a big problem with the phrase "time slows down" in the theory of special relativity. We BUILT those ATOMIC clocks based on whatever we felt we understood about ATOMIC theory, and then we were surprised that our thoughts were consistent when ATOMIC clocks drifted when they moved fast. Somehow, I still find it much more believable that the MEASUREMENT of TIME was affected by MOVING AT RELATIVISTIC SPEEDS, than that TIME ITSELF was somehow affected. But I don't know what I'm talking about.
I don't know anything about this, but I found it one day. It could probably be used with Exceed, but then again, I'm still not sure its what you want: http://www.cs.brown.edu/software/xmx/
It couldn't have been that good. I remember laughing every time I saw Terminator 2 doing anything because of how Robert Patrick was so robotic. And how he always WALKED when everyone else was RUNNING, but he actually started RUNNING when other people were DRIVING.
And every time he said, "...NOO" I just had to chuckle.

All you need to do is have "business" as part of your website; to show you have some sort of business plan I guess.
I mean Business2.0.com is like the lamest thing I've heard since the "Every kiss begins with Kay" slogan.
What are the benefits of stem cell research? Fixing old people, that's what. Why do we want to fix old people? Seems like normally we'd be interested in making new people. So stem cell research is the first step in having a NEVER-ENDING population of PEOPLE WHO EXIST NOW, and simply RAID THEIR CHILDREN to LIVE FOREVER.
This is pretty close to a troll, but no one else is suggesting this side. Look at social security. Most people don't seem to care how my generation is going to have to break their backs working for our old man. Do we want the old guard: Bush, Clinton, Blair, and Jiang Xemin squabbling forever on OUR STEM CELLS? HECK NO!!
THAT'S THE TRUE DANGER!!!!
Prove to me that Stem Cell research is better than having a whole lot more kids, one of whom might make stem cell research irrelevant.
But I can't follow this HOWTO very well. Does he have a global variable stored in the file with t_push and t_pop so that t_sprintf can use that variable? But if he has a global variable, than all he's really doing is allocating the maximum amount of memory his program will ever need at the beginning, and managing his memory.
Perhaps working until 4 in the morning on C code has drained my ability to understand.
A bunch of babies in men's clothing crying about how they want to make money by sitting around and collecting money for unlimited resources.
Intellectual property is what you keep to yourself. If you want to make money, turn some raw materials into some finished goods (preferably robots that do all the work for us, instead of robots that kill everyone but you and do the work for you).
Well there's the problem right there. Why is there job insecurity? Probably because unions and such got so many things linked as part of compensation, that losing a job is like losing a lifestyle. The truth is that there needs to be a revolution in the way that people find jobs. Corporations should be replaced by project teams that ebb and flow together... Getting together, producing results, getting paid, and then starting over. Right now, management is obsolete, but unions won't help us get rid of them.
And frankly, we're almost at the point when Robots will be able to replace most of the human labor. So what will these high moral CEOs of today do? The first person to get the robots, most likely will kill off the rest of us. Oh dystopia!
I'm not sure how you'd do that other than ask. I work for Lockheed Martin Air Traffic Management. We do unix development, and in fact as part of a leadership development program, I'm currently working on porting a Windows-based testing app to cross-platform (read: Java GUI and ANSI C backends on Linux). I'm not sure how much we're hiring, but it certainly isn't obvious from the job description (Software Engineering) that you could end up doing development in linux.
Yeah, I thought I remembered that I figured a way around that annoying problem. But I usually only use Alt-F x in notepad (which is another bad can of worms). And Alt F x doesn't work in internet explorer. But why the heck doesn't ALT-F4 work, when it USED to work on the older versions?
Everytime I use an MS Office product, I find inconsistencies like this. I take it personally because I personally have to figure out what the new rules of the game are every time there's a new version or every time I try to utilize a feature. I would say that NT emacs is a very nice program, but that's not mainstream. And it seems to cause Exceed to crash.
Time for Freenet. Along with a totally wireless point-to-point distributed internet.

Considering the segway is only really useful to clowns.
Didn't video kill the radio star a long time ago?

Are we going to have a new story every time Gamespy comes out with a new top 10 list? They have one every week. Let's give it a rest.
Come on, we all know the down turn in the economy is because all the pirates are taking all our stuff. Aargh.

My only view on Saturn is that Sega didn't do a good enough job marketing it.
Or perhaps they're trying to wipe us out and live forever off our stem cells?

Hey! What if that was your embryo in the Stanford lab? Now you don't exist, and you can't argue your viewpoint.

Maybe change Dig It to Linux. But maybe not.

I think unions would KILL open source. Would any union allow its members to work on code for FREE?
