    Who modded THAT insightfull?

"Imagine an accident. I wouldn't want it to happen to me!" Is not insightfull.

We get these inane comments with every article about transport.
    Electric cars: Imagine getting electrocuted.
Supersonic planes: Imagine a supersonic collision with a building.
Space elevator: Imagine it falling on you.
    Ship: Imagine it sinks.
    Train: Imagine it derails.
    Etc, etc, etc.

We don't need to have those modded up! They're not saying anything original.

I've seen this kind of game in museums and exhibitions for a long time, they allways sucked.

Maybe this eyetoy finally has the processing power needed to make it good, maybe they've designed better games than the "proof of concept" ones that existed in the past. But to me it allways felt like the PowerGlove: Good idea on paper, useless piece of junk in real life. Who the hell modded that guy up?

The PS2 DVD player blows. My roommate had a PS2, and we'd often try using it to play DVDs. But half the time I'd end up taking the disc out and putting it in my computer due to the PS2 having trouble.

Funny, I use my PS2 as my primary DVD player, it never gives me problems.

It just doesn't like certain scenes.

Maybe the disc is scratched? Maybe it wasn't burned right?

You pretty much have to buy the DVD remote for the PS2 as using the controller to play a DVD is completely unintuitive.

Lessee, + pad to move "cursor" around, big triangle shaped button (hmmm, the exact same shape as the "play" symbol on DVD remotes) that says "start"...
    Yeah, totally counter intuitive. Jeez.

    • spend the ENTIRE night watching FOX on mute absentmindedly (while killing time on the net) until it came on at 12:20am to then stay up until 1:20am to watch it.
    • Live with the frustration and disapointment of staying at home to watch it on friday night only to discover that its crap like Andromeda or Happy Gilmour that is playing in its time slot that week (sometimes with advance warning, sometimes not).
    • Stick to the show after having been promised in all the commercials all summer long that the first ep. would be the pilot featuring a Girl In A Box only to be shown ep2 in its place, with no girl-ina-box (the (quite excellent) pilot was the LAST show aired...go figure).
    • Watch episodes in first run OUT OF ORDER, seeing the "previously on firefly" segement showing something that was only seen the week after (and that completely fucked up the story, seeing as how important stuff had happen in the episode that they had not shown, screwing the viewer quite thouroughly).
    • endure the ads for Fox's crappy other shows during the commercial breaks.
    • etc
