Remember, the reason for DVD region codes is so that if a copyright-lawless region started pumping out auathorized copies of the locally available DVDs, those DVDs would be useless in an American Region 1 player.
What do you think whould stop someone in a "copyright-lawless"-region from first importing an american region disc and then pumping out illegal copies of that?
Libraries are the only access ti the internet some people have, thay should not censor anything.
If you think that some speach on the edges of what is acceptable does'nt need protecting, then think again. If we don't protect what is on the edges then the fiels of what is acceptable will shink, and sooner than you think we will find ourselves in iran or nazi germany.
Large weights are mounted on a wheel. Each weight is equipped with DRM. When a weight reaches the bottom of the wheel the weight is given an invalid passport and stops working, when it reaches the top it is given a valid one. This process drives the wheel that drives a generator.
One final benchmarc score. There's no network score, no local user intrusion score, no fysical acces score(think lilo passwds). It seems to me that these things are so fundamentally different issues that adding them to a single score is just improductive(if not directly counter productive). "this box got 8.0 the other one only got 6.9, let's put this one on the network".
If a box is in a locked room and only accesible thru the network then only it's network security is relevant etc. etc.
A 1024 X 768 will require atleast 786,433 electical contections
Actually the minimum is not x*y it's x+y(well 3x+y anyway, or better x+3y for rgb). If you imagine all other contions being set to high impedance. One pair at a time used to illuminate a pixel and a scanning techinque used. That only makes it 3328 connections.

Step by step instructions to building your own rotating cubicle.
As much as i whould love for my tax dollars to go into rotating cubicles...
they surely do not pass up on a tool as powerful as the internet.
Yes nothing like a threatining email to the pilot to make him crash his plane into a building.
You have to find a way to force the terrorist to use the internet first.
If libraries want to block sites - fine.

There can easily be 20-40 instructions (at 4 bytes per instruction) to save and restore registers.
Is it not possible to make a stack for the registers, and then have a single push and pop instruction save/restore all the registers?
Not if those records were in Russia. Then only Russian law enforcement could do it, and only with a Russian warrant.
Because people are constantly looking for OTHER music.

"source code", "non restritctive licence" and stuff like that means that oter gc makers don't have to make their own compilers.
6. Move to a country where you can play with computers in prison.
I'm sure many people are going to think "270 Watts no way, that's going to drain my 5000mAh 10.8v battery in 12 minutes!"

Someone illuminates the whole area with a light that blinks at such a frequence, that you suit(due to the latency) is out of phase. : )
Or stupid teletubby(tm) outfits.

Goodhill expects his company's projectors will cost theater owners about $11,000 for installation, then a $280-per-month leasing fee
What will they think of next? : )
