>Next you'll be telling us that it makes more sense to drive on the right side of the road as opposed to the left.
It actually does. You see it's been proven statistically the left handed people often accidently turn the can _into_ traffic when they try to avoid something. And since most people are right handed, driving on the left will _increase_ the risk of serious traffic accidents.
>A parsec is intrinsically useful as a unit of distance, owing to the nature of how far the earth is from the sun and some simple mathematics.
No the distance between the sun and the earth is 1 Astronomical Unit. A parsec is the distance you get when you stand on both poles and intersect two lines that both bend 1 arch second from each other(of from each pole, always forget).
There are many permutations of the game of chess. One for example is "Giveaway-chess" where you have to capture if you can, and the one who looses all his pieses first wins(no special rules for the king). Then theres "Kinglet" or "Last man standing" as i prefer to call it. It's like normal chess exept the king is just another piece, and the last one to have any pieces wins. Another new non chess-related game is "Hex" where you have a n*n(n is normally 10) field of hexagons and you have to connect across before the opponent does. The good part about this game is that computers generally stink at it. Because of the lack of intermidiate feedback that a computer algo whould need to otimize well.
>You can get the illusion of a screen being further away by having TWO screens...
That still wont help(encreasing the differance between the apparent stereoscopic- and lenz-focus- distance just makes it worse actually). That just fools the stereoscopic depth perseption(spell?). The problem is that the eye still has to focus at a wery close range. This problem is solved by having a lenz attached direcly at the mini-screen.
The usual problem with small and valuable things: cell-phones, wallets, wearables etc. is that some one is always lurking in the nearest bush trying to steal them. Now that just gave me an idea: What if that cache was also writeable? Such a CPU could emulate _any_ architecture. At _full_ speed(anyone?)!
