If he thinks that label is weird he should swing by home depot and pick up some of the fence and deck sealant.
The warning is for the chance of infants/young children drowning in the 5 gallon bucket and even includes a large picture. I am no rocket scientist but I think there are greater concerns then the child drowning.
Open up your sunday paper and look at all the great bargins you can get. Cd's for $14.99 with a $5 instant rebate and a $10 mail in rebate. Do you really think they are giving you the cd's for the price of the tax only? No. They are gonna sell the information you send them to get your rebate. And that information will be 100% correct.
Because if you read the article they can profile/blacklist/keep records on anyone. Sure they claim that it will only be terrorist but more than likely it will be on whoever they want.
Well *most* of latin america is considered 3rd world and the growth there was amazing.
Luckily for 3rd world countries we have reached the point where usable computers are cheap and abundant. I would be willing to bet that most of the growth was not broadband though.
No iso. They only have that pitiful eval crap. Now I know you don't have to have an iso to install it but thats the only way its getting on one of my machines. And I am certainly not buying it without having it on machine first.
I am not sure what goes on in that suse brain, not sure if I want to, either.
this will only keep out your friends. Your enemies would just steal your notebook and then take it apart and eventually get the stuff off your hard drive from another machine.
big corps like Disney, etc. can and will push this thing through.
Too much publicity, good or bad, doesn't hurt it either. The more opposition to something like this, the more the congressman can sqeeze out of a big company and that will make him adore legislation even more.
Well if you were to some how search and find(I couldn't find it for some reason when searching) there was a story on/. about a linux distro written in assembly. Its about as barebones as you're gonna get.
This is just a test. I played the single player at quakecon. It's real fun. I am sure there will be single player in the demo whenever that is released.
Thats why I absolutely love the commercial skip option on my tv. I am going to get me a tivo and will enjoy skipping the commercials with that as well.
It only runs on windows unfortunately, but its educational and addicting. The other downside is while the game has no violence, it led me to violence acts:)
You can't get the noobs off the cs server long enough to install another game.

The best part is the lightness of these cases.
If you go to a lot of lans or move your box from place to place a lot aluminum is the only way to go.
Everytime I read one of his articles and look at that pic, I always think its in jail with the orange jumper.
From what I can tell, I saw this a few days ago, it started here
There are many pictures of bert with all sorts.
They just have to be sure they don't start doing what the big corporate sponsors want instead of what the public or nasa people want.
Money has a way of changing things.

I back up plenty. The only problem is I didn't back up 10 minutes before the drive died.
You are bound to lose *some* data, unless you are running raid of some sort.
The whole idea is the "supernodes". They have to break the encryption to prove they exist otherwise they have no case.
They could use ftp to connect to another computer and get an mp3, doesn't mean they could shutdown all ftp programs.

At least this is a step in the right direction.
To stress C compilers with unusual code
Some compilers become stressed easier than others.

Since he reverse engineered it as he says, what did he reverse it from? Was that not under copyright or some type of license?
Maybe my idea of reverse engineering is different but I don't think it should be copyrighted.

This story was covered by slashdot last week.
This could be pure coincidence, but I can't help but wonder if maybe the government knew something was coming but didn't know exactly what.
