Do you still enjoy writing computer programs and if so what computer languages do you like to explore in?
In my experience both as contract programmer and consultant it is no different in either case in that..
If the project fails due to poor decision making in the managment layer over coding choices you will loose the project or temp job anyway..
Its better in either case to hold a closed door meeting explaining everything then close with I reepects' management's final decison on this but will not return to the gig because I cannopt support the decision..

My question is which IP issue are important to SCO? We have SCO stating that they own ip rights to Unix but only specific companies are being sued with other ones absent from the lawsuit..
For example Xenix vendors have not been charged, why since their version of unix has more potential to have infringed than the current candidates of the lawsuit..for those of us who don't remember Xenix is a Microsoft product.
Why is the lawsuit based on no code comparisons and rather on conjecture of someone's marketing prose? Would not comparison of code have to be done in order to have factual evidence in order to proceed with the lawsuit in the first place ie what is Frivious?
While I don;t expect any SCO employee to answer these questions..we the developers and users of unix in all its forms wil remember SCO's acts and respond in kind!
Whiole Mitnick was charged before doidn a single hour in jail..read the arrest transcript sometime you might be surprised how much Mitnick says that is not quite matching with his sayings before a judge..
This guy is being held without any charges being stated to him before the judge..ie the hearing you get before they hold you in jail..
tell me what about the statement desktop low cost computer does not match when it comes to SUN?
Considering that you hav eplaces like Motorola going down the tubes by allowing non engineeers to use high priced SUN laptops adn desktop computers..can we say the shipis sinking..start bailing now!
But seriously, low cost desktops start with a low cost cpu design something that SUN does nto excell in..
Not just the cost to vendors but also the cost of running that cpu in a laptop or desktop computer..

Read the lawsuit SCO is suing due solely to their deisre to be bought out by IBM and claims that IBM's marketing in LInux sphere breask agreements they had with SCO cncerning AIX..
If SUN made any cliam fo trasnfer of ideas from Solaris to their Linux distro then SCO would also be suing SUn as well..
I am beginning to wonder here if the actual story posters on thsi site actually read something before they post..or is just a knee jerk reaction that commercial media has trained you on?

I have foudn that once I get a physical mail address to a domain and indicate that I ma 30 minutes away and will visit with my pfist that the spam stops..
How effective is this type of Physical threat towards spammers?
