I have the freedom of recording whatever I want on my pc with my video capture card, without paying a fee, and without my viewing habits being tracked. I wonder what kind of nasty stuff they have cooked up in this Tivo 2 of theirs....
I for one think its a good idea, I would pay for nationwide wireless internet. It would be nice on those road trips, I could just bring a laptop along and surf the net or something.
Why does this seem to be a plug for a product? I know of other sourceforge projects that will play Quicktime movies. I dont need to spend money just to watch a trailer. I dont mean to be a troll but I believe I have a point.

You can make a shitload of money setting up these houses too. My neighbor does it for a living...he even wired the house of the guy that created Doom. Done with my claim to fame.
Counter-Strike used to be great, and while it continues to provide others with hours of entertainment, I found Day of Defeat to be much, much more enjoyable. If you would like it, its availible here.
How do we control these plants? What happens if they get into the wild, which would eventually happen due to human error. I cant even imagine the impact these plants would have on our ecosystem. On the other hand, can we genetically engineer some plants to repair our ozone layer quicker? Has anyone ever thought of that?
Its obviously NOT a backbone problem....Redhat 8.0 just came out a few days ago...of coarse traffic is going to be nuts, and slower than hell, ITS 5 CD'S NOW!(including source, mind you)

I'm downloading at 6.5k/sec. I hate it when ISPs say speeds up to 768k
Thats 6.5KBps over a 768kbps line, so in reality, you're downloading at about 65kbps, and the max you could hit will probably be 76.8-80KBps.
With some tasks more than tripling in performance, the future looks very promising
