I note you don't say anything about your own credibility. Let's see some accomplishments before we go questioning serious, accredited journalists, eh? Times articles are thoroughly fact-checked before going into print. Freaking right-wing nutbags.

Isn't it funny how this argument is only sounded when Obama makes it obvious, again, that he had zero intention of going through with "hope & change"? Whenever an (R) does something, his party affiliation is right up there in the first line. When a (D) does something, it's "both parties are equally bad". Can't have it both ways, man.

The poster doesn't say which country it was in. If it were a country like Egypt, the girl would be killed and the boy would be punished as well. In China it would be a serious loss of face for both families. But keep up that "assuming everywhere is the same as here" idea.

Yeah, so I suppose this is someone's father or something. Real great customer there. The Eco-shop online linked from the article has 5 of 7 categories listing no products. You know I love buying from those sorts of stores! Either the owner never finished the site or it's been abandoned for some time, there's no way to know. The best part is giving my CC info to some shop with tumbleweeds and cockroaches wandering about.

Only racists do the "Chinese is the same as Japanese" thing. To anyone who spends 30 seconds educating themselves, China and Japan are as different as salt and sugar. It's only the ignorant who make that giveaway mistake, and ignorance and bigotry are always found together - indeed, bigots are the most ignorant people of all in life. Educated people aren't racist.

Until we arrive at the real national socialism (as opposed to the fake thing attempted in the 20th century) - air, water, food, shelter, education and health care are available to everyone, basically for free. I know that I lost any possible mod points by mentioning Nazism (and even more for suggesting that scarcity is not fundamental "law" of the Universe), but I urge you to meditate on this - limited (but sufficient) population in practically unlimited Universe. Because after all, the national socialists realized that the world was overpopulated and actually DID something towards that goal, unlike all the talkers out there.
