    That's a slap in the face of VGA. VGA was a good standard.

    The PC speaker is like the CGA of music. Both of which should have been left in the dust of time, but IBM cut corners on the first PC, and the PC speaker is still with us.

    Sorry, but the days of geeks going down to Radio Shack and crafting things together are long gone. The modern geek does not solder. Geeks play computer games, download pornography, program (sometimes), and IRC. Soldering is a "dirty" skill, on the level with being a carpenter or plumber...it's unworthy of a geek, and it's something you hire someone to do.

    Sorry, but it's true. Ask around at the next anime convention or star wars message board...you'll see what I'm talking about.

    There's no coherence to most Japanese stuff. The ambiguousness is there, deal. Stop worrying about it...it's a symptom of the Western mind.

    Yeah, TMNT sucked pretty badly...I can't understand how anyone liked it. It's a pretty freaking far cry to call it 'classic'. The comic was okay, though, although when it was out and I was 15, I was a bit old for comic books.

    I would suggest looking up "fundamentalist" in the dictionary before saying there is no such thing as a fundementalist atheist. There certainly is, O'Hair being the patron saint of which.

    You want to take one of those on a cruise from Florida to Taiwan and back? DE boats are great for defending tight spaces, but absolutely suck at controlling the sea. I'm glad the Aussies have them, though. The USN's only DE boat caught fire last year.
