  1. You can joy ride without having any destination in mind.

  2. Not at all, because that is not a special property of McDonalds. People get speeding tickets going anywhere and nowhere, McDonald's doesn't cause it.

  3. Beer? on Here Comes the Keurig of Everything · · Score: 2

What exactly is a Keurig of beer? Most beer I've seen already comes in convenient, single-serving packaging. Where does the need for a machine come in to play here?

How much more proof do they need? They found an iPhone with a chess computer running under his account hidden in the bathroom he ran to after every move. Even in a court of law, which this isn't, that's a pretty solid case.

Don't crash into anything while moving from point A to point B is a fairly unambiguous goal which computers should be able to handle, even if the details in reality are fairly complicated. Only kill bad people is not the same thing at all.

We have some limited recycling in San Diego, but it doesn't create potable water. Most of our waste water is treated and discharged into the ocean.

There has been discussion about building water recycling plants but there is a lot of FUD created about it by the reactionary opposition. I think their successful labeling of it as "toilet to tap" has been especially damaging to attempts to move forward with the idea.

We need water recycling plants. Why are we wasting money on desalination when we can recycle our water for a fraction of the cost?
