    It's not unscientific at all to assume a claim is not true if there is no evidence for or against it. It is the responsibility of the one making a claim to provide the proof.

    The difference with OTC drugs is that they are regulated. You know what you are actually buying and you know what has been tested and shown to be a safe dose, and any risks are also printed on the bottle.

    Under advanced WiFi settings turn off "Scanning always available". I'm pretty sure this is off by default on Google's Nexus devices.

    Don't be mean to women and also don't go out of your way to be excessively nice to them. Both of those things can make someone feel uncomfortable, just treat them like everyone else.

    Or maybe the goal is to prevent people from exceeding the posted speed limit all the time, instead of just when a patrol car is visible up ahead.

    This test wasn't for a drivers license, it was for a ”self-driving vehicle testing license”. Sounds like a learners permit more than anything else, and as I recall learners permits for people are pretty simple to acquire too. There isn't even a road test.

    I use Hangouts pretty much every day and in the past month it's used less than 15MB of data total on my phone. This includes some photos I've sent with it. I have no idea what you are doing to get such high data usage, but I don't think it's typical.

    This law applies specifically to consumer goods. How many consumer goods require an NDA to purchase? In pretty sure not even the Apple store has tried that.

    That's one magic cable you have if it has a mark that identifies the up position for both my current phone as well as my previous phone who's usb port has the opposite orientation.

    True, but macroscopic species can survive on their own. Viruses need to infect hosts to spread, and many viruses don't remain viable for long outside of a host. From what I can find, it seems like smallpox is such a virus.

    Google has killed services before that cost them money to continue operating, that's not the same thing as an open source codec at all.
