You're missing the obvious point. As soon as it is known that a given high risk individual is given more attention at security, they will no longer be a high risk because terrorists will simply use people who don't match the profile.

A terrorists in Saudi Arabia already stuffed explosives up his butt. None of our current security measures can catch that, and obviously it is what someone willing to kill themselves to blow up a plane will do if all others ways of concealing weapons are eliminated.

If we don't do something to cover that scenario, all our other security is a waste of time. So, what are you willing to be subjected to by the TSA to prevent the next colon bomber?

What do you suggest Netflix do? When their entire business is about providing content from movie studios then obviously their relationship with the studios has to be paramount. Do you seriously think it would improve the user experience by losing access to all the major studios content?

Yeah, the stock browser has a Flash plugin which is updated via the market as all other apps are. This is talking about the HTC Sense browser using a Flash Lite plugin which apparently auto-updates via its own mechanism separate from the market.

Actually this sounds like it is an HTC Sense issue, not an Android issue. Android doesn't come with a browser that uses Flash Lite. And since HTC Sense is not open, people can not make their own fixes.

False, the electoral college existed as a check to the tyranny of ignorant voters. The idea is that if voters wanted to elect someone who was unqualified the educated electors could overrule them. This no longer works anymore since most electors are required to comply with the outcome of their states election, therefore all the electors do now is unjustly make it so that voters in small states are worth more than voters in large states.
