Actually, from Google's response to requests for cached maps on their support forum, it seems like this is on their roadmap. They never comment on future features but they did stress they were aware of the issue, so it could happen.

From a quick google it seems that only Texas and California issues something called a Certified Abstract of Birth, so I don't see how Obama could possibly have one.

And then there's the simple fact that taxes are lower now than they've been in 50 years. This is not only a non-issue, it's a flat-out LIE

Right, what was one of the first things that the Obama administration did? They advocated for and passed what could be considered the biggest tax cut in US history. And mere weeks after this happens these tea party clowns rise up and start ranting about Obama and taxes. If they believed a word of what they claim to believe then you really have got to wonder where they were while Bush was spending us into huge debts with needless wars and when Bush signed off on the massive bailout bill just months earlier.

Ads are obviously a factor on some sites, but in general there is just no reason to have multiple columns when the length of your page is effectively limitless.

I've run across a few rare sites that are actually formatted with columns and you scroll horizontally to read the page instead of vertically, but it's harder to do and there's no real benefit so few people bother.

Yes, I'm sure the Democrats came up with ideas such as economic stimulus, financial reform and health care reform just because they sound like great ways to waste money and maybe piss off a few Republicans along the way. I'm sure it has nothing at all to do with trying to solve serious and immediate problems that our nation is currently facing.
