I replaced hundreds of these out in the field. (for a single VAR, we're talking maybe 3-4 pallets) I had the WD checking util on a floppy to test systems I worked on. The util reported back the batch numbers on the drive, you could immediately tell if it was affected.
The first As/400 I worked on had a keyswitch for the front control panel. you needed it to manually IPL the machine, or change IPL mode from the control panel. Looks like they're comming full circle again.
Actually a lot of turbo charged cars do not have the full muffler you would find on a naturally aspirated car. The GMC Syclone/Typhoon and the Buick GNX/GN only had a cat and a resonator downstream from the turbo.

just as an FYI: Novell has an LDAP catalog process that can be configured to run at set intervals, makes NDS/LDAP querries much faster. It's not configured by default, but only takes a few minutes to configure.
I've been involved in several LDAP projects around my company. Authenticating Linux boxen, home grown apps and Checkpoint firewalls. The best LDAP tool I've found so far is.. NWAdmin (or ConsoleOne). Does everything I need, easy to navigate, etc. Oh, only one problem with it: it requires a win32 box. And having a Netware 4.x or higher box around is also a requirement (OR NDS for Linux, which I hear Console One works with!).
As an added benefit, the Netware box can run RADIUS server, filling all your LDAP/NDS/RADIUS needs in one!
case in point: I added an external Base antenna to my Aironet 900mhz 'base' (ie, an isa card in a software router). My range went from two houses down my street (300ft) to close to 1000ft.
The antenna is in roughtly the same space the stock rubber ducky was, but vastly improved my ability to surf while walking down the street.

yes! finally someone mentions Baseball Stars! WE used to play the crap out of that game at the arcade. I'm still looking for a standup console with NeoGeo Baseball for my living room.
RG6 is the cable used by your cable co. to bring cable tv into your house. This differs from RG58/59 as it is thicker and has a different capacitance. (don't remember the specs off the top of my head)
There is no management capability to these things. We wouldn't think of using these over our current Cisco Catalysts. 4 cable runs pulled at once is cheaper.
Recently EarthMindSpringLink 'borged' my ISP, assimulating me into the collective. I was able to keep my old email address, and was given a mindspring address.
I never gave that address out, I never even use that address. Since Nov3 (last day I cleaned out the spam) I have recieved 125 SPAMS. most of which do not have my email address in the header. Spam to my original Email address have also quadrupled since the conversion.
My private mail server, with which I have subscribed to numerous Yahoo Mail lists has not seen more than 10 junk emails in the past 6 months. These spammers need to be stopped!
We have every user within our company, from the CEO/President down to the lowliest data entry person locked down
not only are they prevented from installing apps, they can't change screen savers, they only get the icons for the applications we give them access to. Every DLL installed is on a network drive, they are the same on all servers.
Every one of our 6500 users can sit down at any PC within the company, get their desktop, and all the applications they need. If the application has not been installed on that pc, it will be automatically when they launch it.
Our developers are given the applications they need (or have requested) to work. they work in the same environment as the users. This guarentees the developer will never write something that is incompatible with the end user.
I really don't see what the concern is. What, you can't install After Dark on the company PC? You need a third party application that's not approved by your administration?
The Titanic sunk because the 'water tight' compartments did not have steel caps. once the water in that compartment reached the top, it was free to fill the next water tight compartment.

try being in a car and riding down the road a few miles while on the phone, you often get disconnected
Hell, I have this problem standing in one place around here, the cellco's don't need any help from the hills/valleys.

all you need to set the timing on an air cooled VW is a 12v peanut bulb with aligator clips on the leads.
that would be:

Hope that helps.....

what's to keep you from going to Flytecomm and tracking it yourself?
Maybe fiscal year, ending June 2002?

GPS would need a clear view of the sky in most cases. shipping in a box, in a truck, or in a warehouse won't get you much.
....has registered a domain name that we used to own...
Just to point this out, you didn't used to own it, you rented it (or leased it as it were) from ICANN.

How about the video? I have two Dell servers, and one home built that won't show video if not plugged into a monitor(or electronic KVM) while booting

This is called Debtor's prison, and is one reason the original colonists wanted to break away from England.
