...and in fact, I *still* play Mario Kart (and a few others) on my SNES from time to time. And everyone that comes by the house that I can convince to play it with me agrees, it has a lot of gameplay value and stays fun for hours.
Well, I doubt G. Lucas will loose major cash over this. Espcially when people find out the torrent is only 772.89 MB. I garuntee that ain't a great copy.
For example, if you upgrade a graphics driver today, you typically have to reboot the system. One example of the 'graphics just works' mantra is one of LDDM's goals of allowing installation of graphics drivers without needing to restart the system.
Didn't I hear the same "no rebooting" line with Win2k and with WinXP? Not that I wouldn't enjoy that, it's just that I've lost faith in these types of claims.
...kind of a side note, but in the Mac world, is the 10.x to 10.y move like a Service Pack for Windows machine? I ask because it seems like it's been a large build-up and I was under the impression that this was a 'new' OS, in the same way that Win2000 was 'new' relative to the Win98. But with all the press, it seems like this is more of a Service Pack type thing.
I thought the lure of BT was that people couldn't track what you were downloading, in the respect that what I download is a.torrent file, not a.mpg/mp3/whatever. So how can they say these people have the files when all they downloaded was a torrent?

In 2027, Google buys Microsoft. That is, the Google *AI* buys Microsoft
Whoa. Does John Titor know about this? Better go get an IBM 5100.
....your minimum 2 hour per case charge.
...you must be the 1 guy who bought it. =]
The only component I found that could not be submerged was a hard drive.
Where you able to submerge the CD ROM drive? Wouldn't that negatively effect the play speed?
...of this article is out of touch with movie releases. I think he meant re-re-re-re-re-re-release of Star Wars. Then again, maybe I missed a "re."
Quick, someone crash Goerge Lucas's computer before he reads this news!!!

Well if you had posted this sooner, I would have grabbed a few things on the way out of the office today!
...the George Lucas tragedies are merely on TV.

Yeah, well, I bet others would suffer less if you turned off the webcam. =]
