    uhm mate, you can run osx on most new-world ppc machines.
    HOWEVER, Apple doesnt allow it as per the license agreement.

    but you have to take into consideration that if you encrypt the traffic, sure they cant see what you are mangling through the routers BUT they will see that you are still mangling a shitload of traffic.

    heh actually i've been admining a vax/vms big-F*CKING-HONKING-IRON redundant mainframe that had been rebooted something like 3 times in 10years... first it was used for the inhouse thinclients and for climate modelling (or whatever the bearded ones liked todo when they'd see it fit)

    you must be the troll 2k , everyone I know in the security bussiness dont like this due to its implications and the people I know who are technically adept and into politics see the "1984":ish scenario coming into play.

    This is a technology that shouldnt be.

    er the OS (palladium) decides what is trusted , otherwise the certificates are useless, and the certificates are issued by microsoft.

    Read the documentation availible.
    and the reviews by people who know... for a minor hint on that look for palladium and cryptogram on google.

    since it is still, according to most of you , property of microsoft, then what the hell are you Buying it for?
    My point being buy a cheap top end ps2/ps1 and use the existing *nix ports.

    It is my firm belief that as long as you enter partnership with MicroSoft one would not face this dilemma (or buying the sdk) so buy it, partner up but please stop whining like the little brother that got sucker punched...
