    These ARE taxi drivers either moonlighting or intentionally peeing in the pool. Rate 'em 1, get 'em fired. At least you can do that with Uber. Can't do that with Taxis.

  8. Hahah, no. During the summer here I'd wind up going to the office covered in sweat. Not going to happen. and a "scooter" by definition isn't legal to take on a freeway at any time. It's not capable of the speed limit. Doesn't matter if there's a traffic jam, it doesn't fucking belong there.

    No. I'd tell them to stop being fucking lazy, or I'd just stop using the site. I'm not changing from a browser that I have proper JS blocking and ad blocking for to suit the needs of a lazy web developer.

    Generally the reason they say

    "go download our app"

    is because if you're using their app you can't block the ads they want to serve you.

    Never once. Furthermore I don't give a flying fuck. I don't use Apple products, and I definitely don't have sympathy for web designers that can't do their job properly and feel the "need" to work like an app.

    I'm glad Google broke that lazy fucking behavior for them.

    The Taxi companies deserve to die. Horrible response. Drivers that pretend to not understand English so they can lengthen your route. No accountability for bad drivers. High prices, low availability.

    If I have an emergency or run out of gas, the cell phone is far more convenient. Why would I stand on a dark corner talking on a payphone, all ripe for armed robbery?

    You did if you wanted varieties the average grocery store didn't carry. Whole foods has a LOT of produce that you can't generally get at the typical grocery. It's also higher quality. You don't see bins of peppers where the produce manager has left the rotting peppers in the bin with the good ones in the hope that someone will buy them.

    Samsung has a history of coming too late to the dance and then trying to compel customers to use their tech. THe next Samsung phone will probably only interact with the SAMSUNG digital assistant.

    There are plenty of options out there now. No one needs a Samsung option this late in the game.
