    I don't disagree with you on automation being good, but "demanding unrealistic wages" you mean a living wage (just barely). I hope you support basic income, because if all the people that are currently working multiple jobs (because sub $15 dollars an hour for a job that will keep you part time to avoid paying benefits is NOT livable in any real sense) is going to result in the kind of civil unrest that French Revolutions are made of, and that's not going to be good for any of is.

    There's little to do with making people think they've done something (and they likely don't have TIME, nevermind laziness). Everything to do with the fact that, unless you only own a couple sets of pants, it can take a very long time to get them to where they look and feel "right".

    And your argument is flawed. By definition, a botnet requires malware to be running on the systems involved. This is a reflection/amplification attack where a vulnerability in the unsecured target causes it to respond with many times the amount of data sent, and due to the spoofed packet, it responds to the intended target.

    Just because a node is tricked into responding, does not mean there's a botnet involved.

    Sure, if you buy a cheap Chinese phone. My LG G6 is current, and will be updated to Oreo. And I have an app ecosystem I use, have invested in, and that serves me well, with services I use and that give me value. Not so much with Windows Phone.

    Good luck with that. Having a packafing system for a language allows consistency across platforms. Otherwise you're at thw mercy of the platform team, or you have to maintain separate packages for platforms woth different release and maintenance cadences.

    I have no problem not holding up my phone. I dont' use it. I have a problem having to go through a process to lock it in a bag and unlock it because of some primadonna fuckwad. As for Siouxe Sioux, I could give a fuck if it's her livelihood. If I'm attending the show I'm PAYING her fucking livlihood. THOUSANDS of singers can sing without exact requirements to temperature, myself included. If I'm paying the increasingly rediculous sums for a show and it's uncomfortable? I'm getting a fucking refund.

    THere's zero chance that it will. Even though I don't use my phone during shows, the sheer inconvenience of this process ensures that I would never attend a show in which it was required. I'm certain I'm far from alone here.

    Well, if you're actually IN London that's defnitely a common reference. I spent 3-4 weeks a year (usually staying in Pimlico or Westminster) in London, and I've never heard CoL called anything but "the City".
