On the micronutrient front, it's possible to breed the bacteria that produce B12 and other meet derived vitamins. There are vegan B12 and Omega 3 supplements available. I don't think this will be a barrier in the future.
I will continue to eat meat until and alternative I like exists. I think mince, burger and sausage will the first thing we replace with modern plant alternatives. I think we need to just to be able to be sustainable in the future. With modern technology though we shouldn't have to sacrifice what we enjoy. We'll be able to create a seemingly identical product that is much healthier and much less resource intensive.
The first duty of police should be to protect the citizens, not protect themselves. This guy should die in jail after thinking about what he did for a very long time.
If you have extraordinary powers under law you should be subject to extraordinary scrutiny. They should deal with it. I'd be ok with paying them more to compensate for no privacy.
Bullshit. More people trained and carry guns just escalates the level of violence. Instead of first threatening with their gun, they'll just shoot people before they can defend themselves.
Is that companies still do this "don't reply to this email" stupidity. No email, automated or not should be sent with a no reply from or reply-to address. You should encourage customers to reply to emails if they require support, that's just good customer service.
Cloud capabilities should be an add-on not required. I should be able to directly connect via IP(or DDNS) to my device from my phone or computer and control it.
I saw it in 2d, but hated the way it's shot. Movies shot for 3d use a very narrow depth of field. It's necessary because you can only focus at one distance because the screen is a fixed distance away. It completely wrecks the staging and immersion for me because now you can only see the thing they want you to focus on.
I don't want to have 3 different shitty bank supplied apps to be able to use my phone for NFC transactions. I want to have all my cards accessible via one well designed app. Apple Pay does this. So suck it banks, just get with the program already.
I feel like in a way we need more open source firmware options. Sure most of these run Linux, but it's the configuration and front end custom software that's the problem. If there were a good standard open source distribution for different devices that was secure by default maybe this would be better.
It should be trivial to do a good electronic voting system. Electronic touch screen to do your vote and count it, with a two paper receipts printed for you to check. One you keep for yourself and the other you put in a ballot box for recounting. The electronic count would provide the main count on the night to indicate the result, the paper receipt is available for recounting with scrutineers and the voter can verify that the receipt matches their intentions.
However if they did do it, they'd contract Diebold and IBM because they give executives really nice golf hats. We all know Diebold and IBM can't do i++ accurately.
It was also very concerted "census night". Tell everyone to do it on that night and they'll do it on that night. Doesn't matter though it shouldn't have been hard to handle that in this day and age. ABS SES Executives were just idiots.
I like and agree with your list.

There's a vaccine about to go to trial for a virus thought to trigger the auto-immune disease.

Police unions and associations will never allow that.
Because they never have them turned on - it would make them accountable for their deliberate law breaking.
I agree. A lot of anti-surveillance and anti-logging arguments are basically "I want to do the wrong thing and get away with it".
The actual argument we should be having is about what is right or wrong, not whether you should be caught if you do the wrong thing.

Who funded this research? What was the criteria? Did they measure how happy the workers of Seattle were about it?
It's complete bullshit. No one would watch those shows even if they were on channel 10.
Unzip pants, start masturbating.

Did you order one? I didn't get mine either despite how much I want one. However I didn't order one because I'm poor lol.
Basically it says they aren't doing proper boundary testing. Stuff like that should be easy to automate.

That's not as bad as the other examples. Someone out there will have the same question with a Postfix server so it may be useful to them.
Sounds like a nutcase.
I've got IPv6 Dual stack here and it works fine with Netflix. The netflix traffic is using IPv6.
Regardless of any politics, the large, highly promoted public census was always going to be a huge DDoS target.
It's bad news really.

Americans are stupid.
