    Theoretically this mixed with a service that has surveyed the entire road network could be amazing. It would remove the need to have travelled the route previously.

    Although I do wonder how it copes with changes in road layout/diversions etc.

    I like the smart case, given it's really expensive for a bit of plastic/leather and some magnets but it's functional.

    The only reason I stopped using it was because I got a Logitec keyboard case.

    Valve have the distribution mechanism and the software library in Steam, why don't they release a reference Valve Box then?

    Hide windows with a pretty dedicated UI and sell it cheap. It's Amazon's business model for the Kindle and it seems to be working quite well for them.

    Crucially New trek is actually pretty good despite rewriting the whole continuity. Wolverine was a pile of steaming turds with rubbish CGI.

    You know how wolverine is going to end becasue it's a prequel, Star trek could go anywhere because it's a different universe.

    I used to email myself a link to a page when I found something interesting. The email account I used for that is so clogged up I had to stop using it. Now I've installed the del.icio.us plugin for firefox I just use that you tag pages by topic so you can just look through all the pages you have tagged with a particular topic.

    On the subject of PDF printing I used to do that too but my hard drive got clogged up with a bunch of stuff I would never get round to reading. Cute Pdf is free for windows, in Linux print to file and use pstopdf or a similar too, I'm sure there is a print to pdf tool as well I've never used one though...

    how much is this asking to be used for VR, man this world sucks but if I could plug myself into World of warcraft or FFXI now that would be cool.

    I'd get the surgery done with a bypass switch that let me use my eyes or plug a VGA inputinto my head.

    on another note I misread ophalmologists as Ornithologists, makes it more interesting.

    if you click on the what you parents want to know link and then click on the link at the end of the pdf you get this specs page:

    whats finny is in the pdf they talk about a bunch of functionality which is included in the hip-e that is in any PC and they list a bunch of things the hip-e replaces that come as extras (I.E. you have to pay for them) in the what your parents want to know page.

    apparently my windows pc wont play MP3s but the hip-e's 17 inch screen is equivalent to a 27" TV, somthing smells of tryying to confuse technophobes who dont want their children miss the digital bandwagon...

    go figure..
