Four colors? I thought it was only two, white and off-white. As much as I'd like to get out of my 100 year old house in the "bad" part of town, you couldn't pay me to move where I had to put up with a HomeOwners Ass.
I can already watch what I want on my schedule without having to LISTEN TO A USED CAR SALESMAN SHOUT AT ME AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS!!!!! Okay, my Tivo isn't free, but it's well worth the cost TO AVOID THOSE STUPID IDIOTIC COMMERCIALS!!!

I agree. We need to get ourselves into space so mankind can survive planetary catastrophe. Fortunately, I've been working on this real kewl antimatter engine and - OOPS!
Bullshit! English spelling is retained because we're used to it. Period! Everyone is used to seeing "night" and "through" and see no reason to change. It's not logical, and it drives learners crazy, but we're used to it. I ASSume it's the same with Japanese. They don't care that it makes things harder for the gaijin, THEY are used to it, and that's all that matters.
I'm not as fit as I'd like, but I'm not in too bad a shape. I always tend to pack on extra pounds in the winter. Now that I can walk in the daylight after work, that will help.
I agree that work should have priority. *pauses to minimize slashdot window until boss gets past* But there's often a lot of slack time when, if I wasn't online, I'd be wasting my time anyway.
Apparently for good reason! I bought my iBook G4 over a year ago, and had absolutely no problems. I have bought 2 non-Apple craptops, and both had problems in 6 months or less.
But, in 2007, most of his users WILL still have the Start button. Especially since all the Christmas computers they got in 2006 will still have a Start button. Vista will take awhile to become widespread.

I've never bought a car radio/stereo. The reason? My car came with a perfectly good radio, and I don't need anything better.
Most people don't care about browsers. They need to have one, but if their computer/OS comes with one, they don't need anything else.
A Darth Vader mask works fine 90% of the time. But if you go around saying "Luke, I am your father", you've blown your cover.
Does that mean you can't exploit the "chinks" in your opponent's armor?

So, I gather it's different in the UK? I assumed that ads were teh suxor everywhere, like they are in the US.
That explains the red ring.

Even worse would be a virus that can go both ways. I might sneeze on my PC, it will link to your PC, and you could catch my virus from your box!

I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may incriminate me!

That's the problem. From what I hear, Freenet has little to offer if you're not looking for ch!ld pr0n, or warez.
No, the point is that dissidents can't be tracked. If they can't be read, it's as useless as if they didn't exist.
Okay, here's my info.

It's interesting that their beta product is (allegedly) more secure than a product that has been in production half a decade.
There may be a small percentage of people who get 2nd hand machines with taskbars that have been moved.

My sig explains why I don't have one.
One difference is, when FF has a major vulnerability on the 2nd Wednesday, they'll have the fix ready before the 2nd Tuesday of the next month.
I actually liked DOS. But it's a little hard to find modern apps for it.
