There's different types of feminists now. You've got the actual equality feminists like Christina Hoff Sommers, and then you've got the radfem types that phone in bomb threats, pull fire alarms, and so on because they feel feminism is the only lens gender issues can be look at through. Ryerson University's student union actually banned any an all groups from forming unless women's interests are the center of their existence as a way of preventing men's groups from forming on campus. Bigotry much?

Read the book War Against Boys by Christina Hoff Sommers. It's chilling how terrible academia is for boys and men these days. She sounded the alarm 14 years ago and only now are educators starting to wonder why boys are dropping out of the system and falling through the cracks. By the end of the decade colleges will be 2:1 girls to boys. That sounds great on the surface if you're a guy going to school, but the truth is guys are being denigrated, disenfranchised, and more.

You are making my point. You're so steeped in the ideology you likely can't see it's faults. Take a break and look at it from the outside, in context to the rest of the world, and you'll see things from a perspective you've probably never seen before. One such example was NOW fighting AGAINST equally shared custody, feminsm's hand in biased family court laws (eg tender years doctrine), unequal and biased domestic violence laws (eg VAWA and predominant aggressor policies), and a whole host of social problems that are the direct result of feminist blinders and baked academic studies.

The main obstacle to self-driving cars isn't technological, it's cultural. Even if they get a commercially viable product on the road in 2020, it'll be at least a generation of these things being on the roads before people become comfortable enough with the technology to trust their lives to it en mass. And that doesn't even speak to the costs involved. High end luxury cars get the tech first and it trickles down, eventually. Factor that in with the cultural issues and we're probably not going to see widespread adoption of self-driving cars until 2050 or beyond.

You beat me to it. This is exactly like Steam in that games will now be tied to the account. Many don't realize this has been the case for quite some time, such as with downloaded content (eg Minecraft). You buy the disk, install the game to your account, activate it, then you're good to go. I don't see a problem with this and have accepted this as reality years ago when Steam pioneered this model. The only difference is that with consoles people are accustomed to having a physical copy. Meh, PC gamers used to be the same way but we adjusted. In a few years once people's perceptions have adapted to the new model they'll be extolling it's virtues, SO LONG AS THE GAMES FOLLOW THEM FROM PLATFORM TO PLATFORM. Those games tied to your account better still be playable 20 years from now, you hear me Microsoft?

I STRONGLY recommend reading War Against Boys by Christina Hoff Sommers. How our schools got this way traces right back to feminism and certain ideologues *cough* Carol Gilligan *cough* spouting bs that eventually led to a lobbying effort in the 90s that got Congress and the dept of education to make schools more girl-friendly.

Also, food for thought: There's actually a bigger gap today with fewer men than women in college than there was back in the day when there were fewer women than men in college that lead to the creation of Title IX. So I ask you all here, right now, WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE? Instead all we're seeing is hand wringing and self-congratulations about the supposed success of women in academia. The double standards and sexism against men is so prevalent even the president of the United States is guilty of it!
