Seriously though, as a Republican (by convenience), I say good riddance. It's a chance to replace a establishment republican with someone who cares more then just about the control of the committees...
Go dig up the original scripts (version 1 and 2) that are floating around the internet. While still different from the book, the incorporate several of the stories from the book (including the family who headed for the mountains and feed their sick kid human meat). Oddly, the one basic premise from JMS's script that made it to the movie was original to JMS (an airplane being overtaken by zombies).
You really think Obama is going to act like other former presidents and leave DC for Chicago or Hawaii? His ego would never allow for it. He will stay in DC and be a thorn in the side of whoever the next president is (Dem or Rep).
As to Biden....tell me again why Palin was so bad compared to Biden again?
The problem with the OP is he assumes all engineers are part of the 1% who get the stock options and $$$ payouts. In reality, the vast majority of IT folks are no more smarter then normal accountants, lawyers, etc. We just ended up in IT because we didn't want to be accountants, lawyers, etc.
Personally I majored in Psychology and worked in HR (managing a inhouse access/sql HR db, writing reports) a few years in the mid/late 90's before realizing I could get paid a shitload more doing a similar job but in IT.
Since I already had routers running dd-wrt (yea..i know I should move to open-wrt/tomato), the first thing I did when I got Comcast was have them disable the wifi on there router and set it up so it runs as a bridge instead. I prefer to have as much control over my network as possible.
Maybe because the Air Force is full of pilots (not aviators) who want to fly fast in high performance jets (which the A10 is not). The A10 is more of a plane that is better suited for the Army then the Air Force.
Where in the SF Bay area do you live? I ask because I had crappy DSL (and it doesn't matter who your ISP was, speed is the same; I had DSLExtreme for years) cause I lived 10k+ feet from the office and switched to Comcast and I get 50mbit+ now.
Hal: Okay, boys, okay. Now, what in the hell happened?
Paul: An execution. A successful one.
Hal: How in the name of Christ can you call that a success?
Paul: Eduard Delacroix is dead. [looks at Percy] Isn't he?
A simple compromise is the individual should be allowed to own the same arms that are standard issue to the army infantry. This would mean that M-16/AR-15 should be legal but not fully automatic versions (as infantry soldiers do not get full auto M-16s). So no tanks nor nukes nor RPGs etc.
I suggest you look into how many top officers (colonel or higher) have been purged for the military in the past 5 years. To start with, look at who's been purged as a result of Benghazi (hint, it's not the people who screwed up, but the people who wanted to rescue our personnel).
When you say you have a right to health care, what you are really saying is you have a right to someones labor (either directly from a doctor or indirectly via someone taxes). To provide that direct labor will eventually require some sort of conscription/indentured servitude of medical personal. Remember, the fed now controls the student loans. Want to become a doctor? You must work for the fed where they tell you to go.
Load up Eve and other hang around with friends or form up for a fleet battle. The while your waiting for action in Eve, you load up tanks and play a few rounds.
Not possible. While both Sprint and Verizon are CDMA devices, the run on different frequencies.
BTW, the Palm chargers (the cylinder looking ones) are some of the best out there when it comes to the electricity. The have very little noise and ripple on the current.
I had a Palm Pre (and have a Touchpad running CM10) and thats the one thing I really miss on my Samsung devices. I'm surprised its taken so long for this to catch on with other devices.
We''re not talking about a company (where the idiots are weeded out), we're talking about a local government (where the idiots are promoted; especially if they are related to a politico).
So the 53% who who voted for Prop8 (and therefore materially supported it) are now unpeople who should have no rights?
Only if their a Republican...
Seriously though, as a Republican (by convenience), I say good riddance. It's a chance to replace a establishment republican with someone who cares more then just about the control of the committees...
People are 3 things: greedy, lazy, and stupid. Those out for a quick buck on the *coin exchanges prove this point.

And thats why the rich Canadians come to the states for their health care right?
"The Air Force brass *never* wanted the A-10"

"They were not used in competition prior to coming to Sochi."
Yea...but they never used then in actual competition before the Olympics.
...if it was a union job, the employer would be paying twice.
Haven't you heard? Corporations are already taking over the ed system via common core.

"socialized medicine is not perfect. it's just a hell of a lot better than the american joke of a system"
Then why to the rich from various countries with socialized medicine come to the US for treatment again?

I owned an Apple IIGS. The line in the sand between me and Apple is 20+ years old and hasn't been crossed since the day I sold my IIGS.
You play both, at the same time.

Buts its not your accounts we're talking about here. It's account belonging to the employer that you were hired to manage.
But they are suggesting cutting down the carbon emissions per person to what the equivalent of 1850's level.
