Different math disciplines are not the same as different programming languages. Yes, he probably skated over some things that he doesn't really understand, and it probably was closer to 2 weeks if nothing longer. If they asked him, having autism, he likely doesn't have a goo perception of time when working on a problem. Nothing from algebra to calculus is terribly hard. I spent a very short time on algebra myself, only taking longer with the other courses because I had to follow along with the class. No, I don't think I could have done it in a week, but probably 6-12 months. And again, he wasn't studying anything else or playing video games at the time either.
This is not to say I think he has really taught himself everything about those four mathematical subjects, but there's no such equivalent as "hello world" in calc, geometry, etc.
Sometimes you can't just double park your spaceship to get what you need. There are regulations, and smugglers need to doubly follow them to not be caught. We don't have any hand weapons other than pistols for the foreseeable future, either We may never have any handheld energy weapons to be honest.
Yes, the engines and power sources for ships are a little beyond anything you can really expect. But there has to be some suspension of disbelief with sci-fi.
I think it's more an issue that most horny kids online don't want to talk to 50 year old men, especially ones with a mustache like that. It's more an issue of these guys imagining that every inexperienced teen (which is more of an oxymoron every day) wants them when most teens would rather have sex with other teens. And the ones who don't probably would have an easier time of finding a partner offline than online.
A good number of Disney DVDs had (possibly still have) this feature, unless you have a player that ignores the restriction. Those are most often region-free players, but I can't say for sure.
That's DVD only. He wants Blu-ray. And he probably doesn't want to have to pay around $1000 for a device that you can get for $100 or less with the region lock in place. That said, I don't even find a region free Blu-ray player. They're all region free for DVD but region locked on Blu-ray. I could be wrong, but I know all the ones under $1000 said "regionA Blu-Ray".
From what others are saying, this is not true. It's only the download manager that doesn't let you get the game files. If he had the physical disc, he could have installed the game and activated it online, which is (supposedly, I don't know) not tied to the forums.
I have the same issue with latency just on 3G/4G calls. If I'm talking to my wife and I meet up with her (say at the store where we were looking at different items) when I can hear her over the phone and nearby, there is a noticeable ~0.5s lag.
Well, seeing as I never watched much TV, I guess it's amazing that I've seen the movie like twice. I think maybe one reference to the movie is fine, but after the second one it's too much. I only got the reference because so many other things reference it. I honestly don't really think it's funny the way the writer uses it in this case
I have CFLs in both bathrooms in my house. I know what you mean the ~0.5 second warm up time to 90% of full brightness sucks. When it's like 50 in the house it might take about 2 minutes to get to full brightness, but I keep my thermostat set to at least 65 unless I'm on vacation.
Well, I have seen them on sale lots of places, and lots of users bought them. Not your fault your corner of the world didn't have them. Go to Best Buy, CompUSA, Wal-Mart, and you find them right next to the iPods, at least near me.
How can you possibly skip ads on iPad, PS3, etc? I can understand that for Pandora, or Last.FM, which are audio only streams (basically). But the ads before the video are still available for iPad, PS3, Wii, Xbox, etc. Like someone else said, it's all about the old media thinking that watching it through your computer is different than watching it on your other device. Even thought I can hook a computer to the TV to watch Hulu as well (which I already do).
I'm in the US, my wife and I make under $50k combined per year, yet we found the time and money to go to Germany for 2 weeks and visit various art museums there. Yes, it's not the Louvre, but that would be about the same expense. Get rid of your cable TV, don't buy so much porn and video games, and don't eat out every night. There, you have an extra $300-500 a month to plan a trip for about $3000. No big deal.
Did the OP know it was a bug when he exploited it? Did he think that's how it was supposed to work?
I don't know about you, but I would have done the same thing. It's about using the tools of the game to the best effect. If that's not how the designers meant you to play the game, they should give you a figurative slap on the wrist and tell you not to do it again, and give you some concession for finding the bug.
There is still a Babbage's at the mall near me. They're just owned by Gamestop, like the EB Games in the mall. No, there is no Gamestop in that mall...
I with him nothing. I do, however, wish him luck. I was one of those people utterly bored with math and science, even when n calculus.
And yes, that first sentence was sort of trollish, I do hope you will forgive me.

Why would you need to excuse the theme song? I love it, and I hate country music!

OK, I read your link. It says there is no basis to any flood theory anywhere in the middle east. So don't post links that refute your claim.
IANAB just doesn't have the same school child giggle factor that IANAL does, so I think we must strike it down.
You should probably replace "no matter what age you are" with "as long as you are of legal age" in that last sentence.

Japan, Israel, and Japan?
That's amazing!
unfortunately I have found that only about 10% of subjects actually learn from mistakes. Myself, I learn from some mistakes but not others.

As said above, you failed to continue the sketch.
Fortunately you updated it in a funny way.
No mod points by the way.

Wow, I thought it was spelled the way the other poster spelled it. Thanks for the info, and yes, this is a completely offtopic post.

ummm, move to Munich. They get comparable amounts of snow. And this car will be sold there.
Except:

I think it may have been an innocent typo. The T is right next to the R. Not everybody reads before they post, either.
