I program in both c# and javascript - though the former is far more capable, I find it much much heavier to build with than javascript. I have even had the pleasure of writing a client-side c# browser component wrapped up in com so that it would be a good little activex control. The experience turns my stomach still thinking about it:) So, I have extreme trepidation thinking about a new client-side c# technology. Yes, javascript has its warts, but it is fairly light weight and doesn't require an ide.

I have found that the workplace computer is excellent for reading Slashdot...
While I fully agree with the sentiment, people do not pay for work. People pay for value.
They value 500 channels more than they value 10 - so they are willing to pay more for it.

Super, now the site is certainly going to be slashdotted.
Thanks for the display of religious intolerance.
"How Do You Find Programming Superstars?" ;)
I post an article on Slashdot asking how to find a programming superstar
"The incomprehensibly massive scale of the universe dictates it to be true, statistically-speaking."
Close. The incomprehensibly massive scale of the universe dictates it to be extraordinarily probable.
Did you read TFA?
Good point - you can code C# without an IDE, but doing so generally sucks.
Do you know the Dewey Decimal System?

Thank you both for hijacking and then ruining what otherwise could have been an interesting thread.
Then it seems an awful waste of space.
For those of you who truly hate your grandmothers, you can always set them up with LFS. :)
Just keep at it - RSI tends to not be noticeable while you are slowly being damaged. Then one day it kicks in. No really, you won't see it coming.
