it's kinda funny. Most people think differently than you on the causes of stagnation in your country. Most experts agree that Bush's policies are what's killing your economy. War is horrible for an economy 90% of the time and that's the same in fierce dictatorships and democracies.
Since Dubya's been in power he's ordered an illegal war that even his own father disagrees with. The cost of that war alone is enough to cause recession. When we show you that there is a machine of propaganda and censorship you get all uppity and stand blindly behind your commander in chief. Sounds like a fierce dictatorship to me.

Look if you start bashing again you only give the French more reason to bash you. Sure there was a lot of heat and too many doctors planned their vacation at the same time. In their culture they value vacation a lot and unfortunatly they screwed up because they hadn't anticipated on record heats they hadn't seen in 100 years.
But because you just bashed the French wouldn't they feel obliged to remind you that Americans are the fattest of all people on earth(and getting fatter), that your vacation, if you have any at all is a measly 2 weeks a year (compared to the 5-7 weeks they enjoy). Then you could probably retaliate by mentionning the fact that a large portion of the French population doesn't wash once every day but every second day!
If you really want to go down that road there is plenty of ammo to shoot on both sides. Just remember that everytime you shoot someone shoots back.
As a Canadian bystander I find the attitude of the Americans that bash the French arrogant and immature. In no country I know other than in the US would a politician get away with calling French Fries freedom fries to insult another country. It really shows little class from the USian part. All the French did was say what the world was saying and what the majority of Americans are saying right now. That your war in Iraq was wrong. Even Bush Sr agrees. Get over it.

The French don't owe the US for freeing them from Nazis just like the US doesn't owe the French for their helping hand during the civil war.

They have to prove that you use intellectual property or some trade secrets before they can ask you to quit a job. That way you had a bitter end with one employer he can't ruin your life by stopping you from getting another job.

Your answer is far from logical and doesn't follow in this discussion. I'm arguing that there is a case for unmanned flights today and you want to argue with me that we should explore space.
Obviously you don't understand one thing. I'm all for space exploration and certainly for the colonization of Mars. However I don't see why we need to send humans in flight right now as the feasability of colonization as not yet shown its nose. The world is still collecting important data/funds for Mars expeditions and at the rate it is going it might take another 100 years before we know enough about it to colonize it.
What I am saying is that for today's tasks R/C cars and robots are more than enough. Why send humans at all?

if Red Hat just stuck with KDE or GNOME and dropped the choices they give. I find it counter-productive to have so many GUIs.
