    Right now the people that still use Netscape 4 should be hung upside down by their little toes, wipped with a chainsaw and burned with acid dripping on their genitals.

    Netscape 4 is horrible. It's usage is actually slowing down adoption of Mozilla and other far superior browsers. Once we start creating web sites with standards rather than with code that looks like HTML we'll have smaller browsers that can do things much faster than what Mozilla can do today. Indeed Mozilla isn't just one browsers but multiple browsers for all the F'ing crappy implementations of HTML there have been. Just look at the page this article is on. It's ladden with mistakes, isn't even standard HTML 4.0!

    This guy would prefer to see the net stop growing than see some change so he doesn't have to rewrite some stuff. Lazy ass.

    it will force them to get their act together. This is what I like about linux. If someone makes a better dist all the other ones attempt to catch up and surpass. Scripts like these only multiply this effect! :)

    obviously no. If someone has a valid XP licence they should be allowed to use it in any way they wish to and this includes the NTFS driver.

    I'd like to remind you that some terrorists were trained in the US as well. Does that tie Bush with the terrorists as well? Should we capture Bush and overthrow the US regime?

    Give us a break. The fact that one terrorist was trained in Bagdad is meaningless and shows no link between Al Quaeda and Saddam Hussein. None. So stop seeing things where there aren't any.

    Uganda is under attack by the LRA christian rebels. They want to have a very strict government based on the ten commandements. So long as that country is at war I'm not sure how you'll set up anything there. And the infrastructure just isn't the same as you'd expect it to be. Electricity goes out 10 times a day in the place there is some. Phone lines are scarce so forget about DSL.

    most of the research (mostly MS funded FUD) is done on deployment and many show that OSS has a similar if not higher TCO because of factors X, Y and Z.

    I wonder if any of those TCO papers discuss what it costs to upgrade in the next ten years because MS decides to put something in their software to make you upgrade.

    Seems people in the US immediately become gun-ho as soon as they ear the word "Unconstitutional". Luckily the majority of people behind OSS aren't so dumb as to not see past that. I wonder though if people not involved with OSS are so lucky.

    Sure the more features you have the more complicated something is. But these do not account for the added complexity on a Windows installation or even a linux installation. I also find running the thing to be harder to run and manage even under linux.
